  1. Anybody know of the results, Novogar and Sidecar I think I did quite well but I'm not to sure as it was close at the top
  2. jaysee I'm off tomorrow to do the first round in Italy, I've done 4 off them now on the main route and to be honest there a bit too hard for me, that why I'm doing the international class in this one. From what I can remember its about the same level or maybe slightly easier than the masters class in the British champs. Definitely worth doing for the experience tho, I've really enjoyed all of them so far. Cheers Chris
  3. "So is that also in order of least frame cracking problems to most frame cracking problems?" Maybe not I've cracked a (1997) montesa frame and a (2001) beta frame, not done a sherco frame yet and not ridden a gas gas for 10 year so can't comment Chris
  4. Nigel Dabster "So if Sagar has paid for all that for Ireland, licences for portugal would have been paid ? Dover Calais

    4t

ishy "Some think they can make their two strokes meet those emission standards" I read something about this when doing a project at uni, if a fuel injection system could be used to inject fuel after the exhaust port has closed it would be possible to get emissions within new standards. A separate oil pump would have to be used to lubricate the bearing etc but this has been done before (Can-am rotax engines) Nigel there was a rumor earlier in the year about pons riding a sherco 4t Cheers Chris
  6. James has to ride a 125 in the worlds, new FIM ruling for under 18s. Just a little note about the costs for euro/world rounds Entry fees around
  7. If I'm riding I will be riding for Sheffield & Hallamshire. There is only one round
  8. Used to be a few years ago, it got changed to any 3 riders about 2 years ago unless they have changed it again, which is possible. By the way there is an award for the best novice team. Are you entering a team if so which club?
  9. If anyone is thinking of repacking the exhaust by cutting it open, the exhaust is split in to 2 compartments with an aluminium plate, the front half is packed with wire-wool (this part was ok, tho it may require excess oil/carbon to be burnt off) and the rear half is packed with a fiber glass material this can get burnt away with time so if you want to repack it I suggest you cut the exhaust outer skin in half just behind the spot welds, pull the rear of the exhaust off, this should leave the steel baffle pipe exposed then remove old packing and replace with new, slide the rear of the exhaust back on and get it welded back on.
  10. I changed the main jet to 128 and also changed the needle jet to a 300 (the one that lets the fuel in). When on the road run with the choke on
  11. Its a club team trial for the East Midlands Center, but you can ride if your not in a team. The teams are picked by the clubs i.e. The top 3 riders in the club, team riders get their entry paid by the club.
