We used to make the type of flags you are on about.
We now buy flags of http://www.yorksurvey.co.uk/they a lot lighter and more compact for when you go lay a trial out.

I would ride in it again if you could get 10 riders, excluding those who only do one round or none at all.
There were 7 riders on the list this year but only 3 did the final round! Good for getting on the podium but not very good competition.
In 2003 there was about 15 riders on the masters list, but I don't think there was ever more than half of them riding in one event.
Therefore I think you want about 20 riders on the list to make it a good championship.

Yes If it is a Novagar round there can only be one route for solos, we're hoping to revert to our usual format of Sidecar Championships and Classic Championships which work together much better and allow clubman to ride on the Sidecar route.
A lot of people were very disappointed that it would be too hard for them to ride, so hope to see you all back next year!!
I'll order some sunshine for the first weekend in November

Andy
Yes no problem at all

It was pretty grime up at Oxlow house, the fine rain (as you call it) made the grass even more slippery than usual.

My cousins bike did exactly the same thing as you are mentioning, turned out to be water in the kill switch.
It had us baffled for a while because it was sparking when you kicked it over but it wouldn't run, eventually we disconnected the kill switch and wrapped the terminal up with insulation tape, it ran perfect.
There maybe is something more at fault but it is worth trying.

Got my acceptance note yesterday but no start time, you just need to be there before 9.15am, apparently they haven't got a very good entry.

"Is that your first National win Chris?"
No unfortunately not, It wasn't a national this year
I have won a Hillsborough National before but it was a twinshock round so I don't know if it counts.
Should have won two other nationals (Peak trial & West of England Novagar) as well, but I was robbed due to time penalties on both.
But I'm not bitter

Conventional forks tend to be stiffer (USD forks tend to flex slightly) when turning due to the brace used to hold the front mudguard on. MX don't use a mudguard and brace like trials bike's and therefore steering flex is not affected by changing to USD forks.
Hope this makes sense, all IMHO

I saw it and the new gas gas at the euro/world round at the weekend, all the changes looked cosmetic from the outside on both bikes.
The sherco had new lighting kit on it and what looked like a catalytic converter on the front pipe probably part of the street homologation kit.
