  1. IS the front disc on a 2002 TXT250 designed to float, or should it be solid. My disc has movement in it, and I am wondering if I need new bolts and spacers?

Some gas gas bikes rattle from new, and some people spend a lot of time trying to fix it but fail. Just live with it.
  5. There used to be a trials park somewhere between Kenilworth and the NEC. I cant remember exactly where, its years since I was up that way, it may still be there.
  6. Army surplus shops sell cheapish goretex trousers, waterproof and breathable.
  7. You could try compressing the tyre by putting a ratchet tie-down round the centre of the tyre and tightening it up, then inflate the tyre with a compressor, a foot pump will not input the air fast enough to pop the last bit of bead.
  8. John, Thanks for that, I will have to order a copy.
  9. Be carefull how you clean an O ring chain, they do not like being washed in petrol, it knackers the rubber O rings, and they do not enjoy being boiled in oil either. A good scrub with soapy water and a tooth brush, rinse, dry thoroughly then spray with a quality chain lube, your chain will love you for a bit of TLC
  10. OK I know I need to practice as I am new to this feet-up lark, so where do I find a copy of Ryan Young's Trials Training Techniques DVD. I can not see it on Amazon or other online DVD sellers?
  11. Hi from sunny Buckinhamshire, just getting back into feet up after a long layoff.
  12. From the 2007 ACU handbook. TSR22A, Stop permitted. Failure shall be deemed if :- The engine stops WHILST ANY PART OF THE MACHINE, WITH THE EXCEPTIONS OF THE TYRES, TOUCHES THE GROUND OR THE RIDER IS FOOTING. So if you are stuck on a stump on the bashplate and the bike stalls , well sorry its a 5 TSR22B, Non stop. Failure if the machine ceases to move in a forward direction. So if you are stuck on a stump sorry again its a 5. There is no mention of engine stopping in this section of the handbook. When I am observing I allow 2 seconds of stationary before I start giving failures. But I guess if you are observing so long as you treat each rider the same you cant be too wrong.
