Hello all ! I have been pondering an update of my 2005 300 pro , and was wondering if anyone knows if 2009 pro plastics will fit on a 2005 300 pro ?? They look like they would to me , I have looked at them in person and they look the same. I appreciate any help in advance ! Chad

Hello all ! Im sort of confused.. I am trying to call some trials shops in the UK to purchase a new helmet( as we dont have much selection here ) and I cannot get ahold of ANYBODY ?? I called 5-6 different well known shops 5 or 6 times each and was not able to reach anyone ?? At first i thought maybe they are closed on mondays (most shops here in the us close on mon.) But that is not the case per the websites ?? I have ordered from there before and never had trouble reaching anybody ? Is there something im missing , is it a holiday ?? Any help appreciated CJ

Hey everyone, I am building a 74 TY250a and wondering if anyone has found a crossover footpeg from another bike that works on a TY(The stock pegs are teeny tiny things !) I have seen some at some vintage trials sites , but very expensive.. I have considered some weld on extesions... this could work and the price is right, But i did a search on e-bay and saw tons of pegs for all sorts of dirt bikes for like twenty bucks (some look like they would work , not sure though ?) Let me know if you know or have heard of anything ! I am ready for this project to be done , and the end is in sight!! thanks Chad

Has anyone ever used a non ty silencer on 74-77 ty ?? what was it? and did it work (what mods had to be done to make it fit ?) etc.. im having trouble finding a ty silencer here in the us, i could get a new aftermarket one , but im too cheap !! thats a last resort !! thanks cj

Sorry I know this isnt trials, BUT im sure someone here can help !! I have an opportunity to get this bike for free or very near to it ! an old friend has it in her basement , it was her dads(passed 20 yrs ago) I think its an mv agusta, but not sure what ?? I may be wrong , also i would guess it to be 65-69 ish ?? any help is greatly appreciated !! cj OH and this pic is from 1975 !!

Hello all ,i have a ty 250 (74) and i am having trouble finding a fuel tank . So i was looking around on ebay and saw some dt tanks that look identical , size shape , mounting etc.. ! has anyone ever seen one or done this before ? Im sure the ty175 tank will work but they are rare here as well , will the ty 80 tank fit ?? thaks any help appreciated ! CJ

Hey all , a good friend and all around good guy that I ride with informed me he was moving out of his house into a townhouse and would have to get rid of a 74 ty 250 , and asked if i were interested. I said i was, and asked what he wanted for her , his reply was "nothing , its yours !" So needless to say I am excited to bring her back to life ( parked in garage for many years, and was purchased as a parts bike) I have never restored anything , but am fairly competent in the garage, but am looking for any advice or input from your vast experiences ! Here are a few pics, mind you it was in boxes two hours earlier, but i just couldn't resist !

I think it looks pretty sweet . not a huge leap from typical design, but seems like they continued to slim it down etc.. I translated it on bbfish and it did not say , but is this fuel injected? from the pics i dont really see a carb ?? cj

If you really want to ride it , be a grown up and ask the owner for permission. If you can sell him on the idea that its not going to tear anything up he may go for it, if not stay out. Just my 2 cents. I feel kinda bad for you guys with no where to ride , I have about 3k acres behind my house , and cant ride my sections enough to keep from over growing . cj

I think you all are missing his point, IMHO he's not trying to make it as fast as a busa , but make it as fast as it can be !! Cut the guy some slack , its his Bike let him do what he wants with it ! CJ

Hello all, went for a ride today and my 05 300 pro overheated(fan was not coming on) ! when I got home started checking all the usual suspects ! I bypassed the thermostat( they call it a thermocontact) and the fan runs fine. so im guessing the thermo contact is bad . Anyone ever bought one , just wondering how much i might expect to pay ! thanks in advance !! chad

Thanks, for input , i will contact the commo's. We here in the u.s. have so few options as far as trials stuff goes! It just really sucks to have to do all of this just to get a pair of boots ! cj

Hey all, does anybody know anything about the brand "on/off" trials boots , I think i found a good deal on some here in the us, but cant find ANY info on them anywhere on the web. ANY links , info , photos welcome. I have seen people wearing them , but have no idea where they found them . I have checked all the usual sites her in the us , and have come up empty handed, thanks in advance , chad..

I've used slime in other tubed tires (mxer's, mt bikes) and it works great on everything BUT a pinch flat, I may be wrong but , generally if you pinch your'e S.O.L ! chad

That Sucks !!! Coming from Alabama(where we can ride anything , just about anywhere !)I cannot imagine having to go through all that Bulls--t, to ride a motorcycle over some rocks !! GOOD LUCK!
