  1. No sign of Alexz in the top 15. What gives? Is his knee worse than thought?
  2. Well, if the important questions won't be answered, let's try this. How's the European Championships going today?
  3. All that and no section scores? Who won? By how much? Was there any nipple slippage? I can't wait for the second day of competition to get underway. Was Jordi Tarres the official observer judge?
  4. Does anyone read the front page anymore?
  5. I just noticed Kinell's photo aviator. What's with you and Highland lasses fascination with Raga's backside? She uses his bum and you use his back. Then again, maybe I'm the sick-o for taking the photos for you two.
  6. It seems Alexz and Ross get along better than you two do. Would that be a fair statement to make?
  7. USA update: Charly reports Ronnie Commo ran out of time in the Junior class on the first lap. Full Youth results.
  8. I'm pulling for Johnathan to overtake Moret on the second loop. CHALLONER - 15 FERRER - 18 BOTELLA - 25 PASTORIZA - 25 DAGNICOURT - 29 MORET - 30 RICHARDSON - 33 Juniors, first loop. GUBIAN - 29 WIGG ALEXZ - 36 GRATTAROLA - 38 DANBY - 42 SCH
  9. Disclaimer: Lane's been a good friend to me over the years and has offered lot's of advice that's translated well for me. Lane can no longer defend himself here when people talk negative about his brash style. Some people really dislike him and I can understand that. But I don't. Call me a knuckle-head if you want, but I value Lane's friendship and trials knowledge. I will continue to seek out his controversial advice. Now. Long story short. Lane's banned, but still lurks. Lane is always open to help any trials rider with questions. No matter what level. Instead of looking for his wit and wisdom on the forum, I just call him on the set. Most of you may not be able to get away with pulling a big-wig hollywood stuntman designer/director from the middle of a dangerous stunt, so here's the next best thing. Email him. Title it - 'Banned from asking Questions to Mich Lin on Trials Central'. Leavittation@stuntrev.com Oh, and you can stop by and say "hi" to Lane it the first round of the EnduroCross series over the fourth of July weekend. He's been mentoring a major stunt guru named Monty Simons to give it a go. Looks like I'll have some competition in the new trialscross class.
  10. I think we as a "internet trials community' talk about trials all the time on this and club forums. And, there's tons of lurkers too. It's just everyone here wanted their own little section of the forum it's spread out now to be more topic specific. That's what they request Andy to do all the time. When I comment about the trials we're doing in the World Championship level, some topics draw 3000 and 4000 reads - and 100's of comments. Ishy chats SSDT and they too draw huge conversation. People wanting to know about a particular bike go there. I read your guys threads about the new youth movement. And Mark, he's all over the board. Feelings get hurt on the forum once-an-while. But the forum itself doesn't hurt trials. For me, it's made the world trials scene a better place. Like Honda's old advertisement went - the same could be said for Trials Central forum users. "You meet the nicest people on Trials Central....." And I'm not just saying that cause Andy's one of my EnduroCross sponsors. LOL.
  11. Pat said...> "Doctors and I finally found out what has been going on with my back. I have something called Spondylolysis, which is basically like a cracked bone in the lower back. I first noticed something was wrong while practicing in Oklahoma the day after the Sooner Cup, but I thought it would get better so I just tried to ignore it...." "Well after feeling it everyday for over 2 months, I got it checked out and now I have to go to physical therapy for the next 4-6 weeks. Which means I will not be able to ride the next few World Rounds. I'm really sorry to let everyone down, but after hurting very bad in Japan and not even being able to walk without a lot of pain a few days after, I cant keep riding like this. I'm not riding like I know that I can, and it has been really frustrating." Read Pat's whole blog post here.
  12. Not bothered? Are you freaking kidding me? We're all heartbroken. But, Patrick's health is more important than a title. Still, I'm so sad, I didn't know how to put it into words. That's why I've been so silent about the matter up until now. I'm sure going to miss the battle Pat had going with Jack. Though he's still young and will have many more chances. Pat told me he'd do a press release regarding the matter and I'll post it when he finishes it up.
  13. Here's the same bike with the Scorpa label. Brushed silver frame.
  14. Here's one (full Yamaha) in world competition. Blue frame.
  15. Ha. I thought Hop Sing was Lane sneaking in under the radar.
  16. What is he, some sort of Sumo Wrestler? Adam "The Destroyer" Raga!
  17. A couple more for Ian. This is what they were pointing at.
  18. A bunch of podium finishers waiting for the overdone sponsor announcements to get finished up before going on stage and getting pimped out to promote the product some more. PS. In my opinion, the energy drink didn't even taste good.
  19. Jake in his Paddock area before the event.
  20. For the New Zealand bunch. Jake in section one on the rainy Saturday.
  21. Reading the title of the post I was expecting a kid on a Oset. Well, hot dang. I'm seriously impressed with the talent of Ty on the man-made obstacles. Seems to have the right technic and posture on the bike.
  22. Well folks, it looks as if we're the last ot leave this "sterile hellhole" - as Andy puts it. Pat and I want to thank everyone for their support with this, the longest fly-away of the tour. So long, Japan.
  23. Youth Cup 125. A Brit, an American and let's not forget France.
