  1. Pat's on a five for the first loop. I'll fill you in on the other two riders on the course.... still. But Pat's five is low score, so far.
  2. First loop for the youth is near completion. Here's a photo of Pat on section 12. We'll have some scores shortly.
  3. It's only 6:30 AM, nothing is happening, yet. I don't know how much instant coverage I'll be able to do today, but... we'll see.
  4. They can't ride until Friday, what else are they suppose to do? Did you see any riders sitting too? LOL.
  5. Oh, come on. There's people like me know rely on your daily TC SSDT updates from far away. You can't give up now.
  6. Ian, With that sponsorship comes the little perks like having a frosty brew with the Northern Norm and I.
  7. Holy Cow! This is the most popular topic since the Xispa was introduced.
  8. Unless Sigmund Freud could ride a trials bike and follow Pat around Sunday, I'd rather have no one else handling those minding duties at the world level right now. Give me a freaking break. David is just fine. As for the other comment, you're full of it IMHO. What I'm saying is, for years you guys wanted us in the series. For years America has been wanting someone to ride at this level - and now we're here. You guys know it's more than a rider at this level. There are only a handful in America who knows what it's like. It's the whole package. Try staying three up in a shoe-box hotel room for a two weeks straight. Four-up on weekends. I pose this to you Nigel, email Jordi Tarres and ask him how we're doing so far. Then get back with us. I don't think we're doing half bad at the moment under such circumstances. After all, Pat's going up against the worlds best in his class and he's giving you guys a run for your money.
  9. I just got home and comfy - ready to do Pat's report for the home-page. Pat, not being in one of his more overly talkative moods, I went to see if I could steal a few quotes from his blog. I'll let you guys read it for yourself. I couldn't have done it any justice. He said everything I would've wrote.
  10. Damn, that was painful to watch. Dropped my gut, the kid's tough as nails.
  11. Andy, I love that kid to death. Yes, I'm hard on him, but this five wasn't the reason I was soooo ticked with him yesterday. Now, remember, what happens on the road - stays on the road. It's OVER! We're all cool today and can't wait to do battle in Tennessee.
  12. He busted the ribbon with his rear tire. That caused the five.
  13. Forgot to mention. Congratulations to Jack Challoner on a excellent ride and a first place finish. Jack was, as you say, spot on.
  14. Long story short. Pat finished second today.
  15. It the wooded area. Section 7. A nice break from the wicked wind.
  16. The Bangor Sea is angry today. We've got winds clocking near 40 miles an hour. It nearly zero degrees - and Pat's riding like crap. Absolute CRAP! Pat and I got into a heated discussion on section 4, as I was trying to get the 17 year olds head in the game. Yet, somehow, he's tied for first after the first loop with 2 others (Jack Challoner and Alex Ferrer) at 15 dabs. If we ever needed some extra prayers, nows the time.
  17. Pat goes on the course in about 30 minutes. He's very determined and focused this morning. As usual, you'll be receiving as good of coverage as I can muster. Wish I could say I was as focused. If you know what I mean? LOL.
  18. Words cannot describe how we feel today. I'll let the photo speak for itself. And yes, the Champagne tastes sooo sweet.
  19. Sorry it isn't the best quality. Pat section 15
  20. Pat was tied for first with Francesc Moret after the first loop. Then the kid lowered his score down to 12 on the second loop. He has one five as the chain fell off. All other Junior riders are still on the course. Everything is unofficial.
  21. A cleaver idea. If you're into that sort of thing.
