They're already billing this as an epic event. What a race. Photo finish between Taddy and Rick D. Little Ryan Sandoval won the trialscross class. He's not so little anymore. I remember him when he was knee high to a grass-hopped. Harry Oswald was leading his LCQ and ran out of gas. Actually his gas petcock was turned off. Dustin Headwall had troubles all day. Crashed bad in the water pit and stalled on the rock pile. Poor kids. Colton was leading the main event at one point. The announcer mentioned Colton added 20 pounds of muscle over the winter. One wonders if it was his lip muscles? His dad tells a different story. Aaron was smooth as ever. Phil, not so much. All the NATC had to do was put on the flyer they were paying out over $4000 to the pros. That's how the series I'm competing in this year works. Until the pro riders are properly compensated for the efforts, I will continue to put my foot in my mouth.

The FIM Women's World Championship is on Saturday. Eric won't compete until Sunday.

Professional sports: "Professional sports, as opposed to amateur sports, are those in which athletes receive payment for their performance...." If you're not going to compensate them, stop calling them pros.

So, it sounds to me like the organizers and promoter are pimping out the quote/unquote "Pros" to entertain the paying masses and not rewarding them for their services. That's about par for the course.
