Hi, I am due to be working at Spruce Meadows near Calgary next week for about seven days. I was wondering if there is anything going on locally that i could watch whilst here.
Hi could do with getting some bars with a slight rise i feel a bit hunched over on the bike. Which ones are recommended also need a clutch cable with mid cable adjusters on unlike my venhill. I have sammy miller foot rests fitted and standard length shockers.
thanks in advance
sounds like the airline might have dislodged some muck and blocked a jet try again with another carb clean. physically remove the jets and clean off seperately then do the body of the carb. Hope this helps
Hi currently running 50 rear and 13 front and would like it to be more section friendly. I never use it on roads or trails.
All advice greatfully recieved.
Hi, I have a standard Ty175 but want to 'tune' it a bit and was considering boyesen reeds. What difference do these make and are they worthwhile. I have a miller tailpipe to be fitted but will wait until after reeds if thats the best way.
Hi does anyone know of an alternative kickstart for ty175. Mine is broken and I found a post on here about rd350lc kickstarts fitting, I could do with more info please on the year of the rd's.
Any help or suggestions welcome
Hi, Have a search on here and do the carb mods( Float level, T piece hoses etc) these make a huge difference also the float bowl extension, brilliant bit of kit.

Try the above he makes some great bits for twinshock and/or older bikes and produces his own wide chromed footrests.
Hope this helps

Hi, I'm sure someone on here posted details of a replacement bung for when the auto lube cables have been removed on my ty 175. Unfortunately I have searched and cannot find the details. help!!!
Hi, just back from trying out the 175 good fun but seems to bog down at the sign of a hill, wondered if it could be the float height unless someone has a better idea. Are the fork seals a nightmare to do?
Thanks for the advice,I will go and 'play' tommorow and try the forks at different heights also the needle in the carb is set one from the top. Do most people run them on the 4th from top as per the manual.
