Not sure why taking the chrome option is taking it to far, I've had a few things rechromed and it's a simple process. I would get it chromed, or make a new one out of titanium :-)

I think one of the reasons why you don't get many responses is that not many people know the answers, as there appears to be far too much interest in Post Office bikes :-( I'll continue to ride proper bikes, the day you see me on a trial on a 2-stroke shoot me.

Any recommendations for the best soldering iron to make up cables? I've been struggling with a gas torch which is just simply to hot. Also any hints on the best solder to use?
