  3. JR made the trip but oliveras didnt and its just a license? Surely if you had already paid for minders and riders flights but the licence didnt come through they would still go with special bits in hand luggage? If they came out and said they dont regard the US as a big market or Dani is not going to this round as he will struggle to get more than 7th so its not worth the expense recession etc you'd say fair play.   4. In the three recent events i have been to the sections have been different I think they rotate, so dont be surprised if they use the stream sections this year. There are some really good climbs at the top and I think one year we actually looped onto another bit. they have scope. Explain why they grow tobacco there can you?
  5. Too true, and see the way the riders are now riding to the observing rather than the rules, which is where cabby seems to loose out.
  6. Usually stay in the Hotel sol Park not the best but clean and tidy. We love the resturant along the road one back from the main street which has tables in the road, usually have to book, it was only a walk from the paddock when they had it in the car park at the bottom of the hill, but since its gone to Naturlandia its a hire car job which can be fun!! Think it was Fajardos first wtc win there in 09? Duty frees can be good and of course the trek back to el prat can be a pain on a sunday night, but the road is much better everytime I've been Made the mistake (once) of heading direct for Toulouse straight over the pyranees,silly! I have ridden 3 times (6 laps) at the wtc as water boy.07 09 11. Why?
  7. You need to think about a non riders perspective thinking on the fly doesnt register with them
  8. Thats absolute rubbish, i think the rocky strems and steep long climbs lend themselves very well to no stop.
  9. I think the no stop has made it possible for riders like smage to actually compete at this level, wheras last year it would have been 5's all the way for him. Credit to the lad for doing it. However the rules have not increased participation and the fim in stead of warning Raga for comments should tell us what proposals they have to stop the sport dying at this level..............whatever the rules.
  10. check power to stat and fan directly and everything works, 10 mins at tickover in the cool temps we had probably not enough, ie the rad is cooling the tickover generated heat (its doing its job) probably all ok.

  13. World Trials championship Junior, 2 podiums on gas gas, best result JTG 14th. Is that going forward?
  14. This seriously does a diservice to ross and gas gas on which he achieved many sucesses at World European and British championship events at many levels previously. The fact that he has matured as a person and a rider, has a super smooth riding style whic suits no stop has in no small way contributed to his achievement at the SSDT. To say that a Jotagas has done this is not telling the whole story is it? Well done ross on a great result in the six days.

  16. Guy Kendrew is a very good national rider from the UK about 24 years old. He won the expert B class in 2011 I think and switched to a John lampkin (uk) supported Beta , i think.............

  18. Which is why in a large % of bail outs that the engine is cut before full chat?
