Caught Red handed! Someone must know who they are, but will they get what they deserve!!

You know that even with this evidence Plod wont be bothered as too much trouble. Shame it didn't show the reg number of the van but then again that would probably be a cloned plate.

"Will they get what they deserve" No they wont !! If by some quirk of fate plod happens to fall over them and they get arrested all they will get is a slapped wrist and be released to carry on as the magistrates know the prisons are already full to bursting point so are being encouraged NOT to award jail sentences.

Only way they will ever get what they deserve is if somebody finds out who they are and they get a "visit" from "some boys". At least the Saudis would make it a bit harder for them to sign to get their welfare wages each fortnight.

Sick of the way this country has gone.

Crime Watch ??

That's also the problem !! People see a crime in progress and just watch or walk on by. Crime has become endemic in our society and a way of life on most estates which are nothing more than open prisons. Thank god I managed to escape from an estate that on face value looked "nice" till after dark. Now I've moved to where I thought would be a nice area and the next village down, full of council housing yes basically an estate, has the plodcopter hovering overhead almost every night. As I said crime is endemic in society now.

I dont know where this anti police sentiment comes from I think generally they do a good job with the resources they have, why should they spend time and money on getting a bike back that wasnt secured properly when its probably in bits now anyway?

I feel sympathy for the guy thats lost the bike, dont get me wrong, the theives are low life etc, but are we wanting bike thefts to be their top prority?

(btw I shared the photo 2 days ago so I tried to help)

I expected to read more about this on the Nottinghamshire Police website-

http://www.nottinghamshire.police.uk/

in their "Caught on Camera" section, but it seems to have been overlooked.

My point exactly. Not anti police, they are all we have after all, however they are NOT a deterrent neither are the courts so what is left? well perhaps we should make it easier for the thieving *******s? After reading some of the above it might be construed that if I have my bike nicked it is always my fault no matter what precautions I took because if they managed to nick it then it must be my fault.

IS THIS THE LEVEL TO WHICH WE HAVE SUNKEN TO? Why should I have to take any precautions to secure MY yes MY NOT THEIR POSSESIONS. God what with this and the welfare gravy train, which most if not ALL of these scumbags also enjoy, no wonder this country is fu*ked.

I hope that everybody who have had and will have their prize possessions stolen get them returned in perfect condition along with a letter of apology from those misunderstood little mites.

As you live in Notts perhaps instead of posting a link on here perhaps you could contact the website or call plod and ask why its not up there or if the case is being looked into.

we are all making assumptoons that about the crime when none of us knows?

The point I was making was that the Police hadn't bothered to post those excellent images on their own website, yet they have plenty of scarcely identifiable images on there of people pinching perhaps a tin of beans from Morrisons. Its hard to understand why though, unless the crime wasn't reported to them, or, better still, they caught them immediately.

Talking of assumptions, how do you know the bike wasn't secured properly?
