  1. Well said, objective and balanced.
  2. horses for courses I guess, when you do the occasional very long trip, 1000 miles down to the Spain wtc in one go for instance, the toybota isn't really an option. At 70k my vito is completely rustless as is my old t5. T5 on original clutch at 105k. The new vito has 220 bhp before chipping. bring it on!!!!!!
  3. ....but not that nice to drive.
  4. John bull rides and produces rockshocks and dots.
  5. my vw lost 4th gear at 100k, not the only one, only other trouble was turbo hose blowing off. Vito has been better and the 100k waranty the best. had a couple of erg valves a battery and rear light led cost nowt. its on 70k and feels like new. Will change for another sometime soon new front shape out in the next month or so the vw has gone backwards imho with the bi turbo the top models are miles apart now. Alot of brass mind you.

  14. Not having a go at steve at all, just that the prize money is quite substantial.
  15. Wouldn't have anything to do with the prize money would it?
  16. Yes. I feel that taken in isolation a flywheel weight may help in one way but then detract with the overrun. I like a response between my twist and the back wheel rather than the weight interpret what I want. If you are finding grip lost easily change down a gear and practice weight distribution/grip. Even with the standard set up there is a fair amount of flywheel weight on this bike, I understand the factory bikes have more taken off.
  17. Why will gas gas suceed where scorpa failed?
  18. Never used the weight on 09/10 290.
  19. The reason there are none "unsold" as with their TYZ 2 stroke is that the company ran out of money due to poor sales and had no money to buy engines. If there had been a demand this would not have happened. Anecdotal evidence that a few of your friends want them is vague at the least and certainly not repeated countrywide. I have never seen one at a richmond trial, and to my best recollection no one owns one in my centre or the two adjacent ones, well if they do they don't compete. There is no demand as if there was it would have been the first bike produced by Sherco. It wasn't and more likely won't be coming or would ever sell in numbers to even justify production. I accept that an aircooled small cc bike may be a good thing for learners (at a budget price) but human nature and the limitations of a converted trail bike will never allow enough success in sales terms and in the current economic climate numbers are king. The Bliss bike was another failure on the same lines wasn't it? Whether the 2011 Scorpa badged 2010 Sherco will sell at
  20. There is no market for this bike or perhaps Scorpa would still be in business. Apart from mike rapley something like 5 years ago I have never seen one in a trial. I won't repeat mikes comments on the bike as they were given probably on the assumption I would not repeat them.
