just gossip but day one
Dougie lost a load on time, wiggy on 6 browny 3 Challoner also lost time9? cabby on 3.
Alot of guess work
-
-
Last year there was just two rounds won on single figures, Gratterola in Italy(!) on 9 Gomez in andorra on 4.
No rider made any money in the juniors last year i'm sure. Its just too expensive simply getting to events even when starting from europe.
If you think there is any return on investment then you are mistaken.
-
If he is 18 he can ride the top route, where does the can't come from?
-
Its just got to do with the bowl, is the gasket ok?
-
Dont give up now as the satisfaction when its sorted will be immense.
-
Right so it is established to be working fine.turn upside down and check 18.5 and its done if it floods then something is happening when the bowl is on. brass thingy ok >?
-
So you have tried it on the bike with the float bowl off?
-
ok fine, point taken, as long as you don't make me eat it till september.
Time will tell.
-
No chance of cutting the hedge though.
-
Try with the float bowl off fuel is stopped by slight pressure up wards ie needle is doing its job. Float height measurement upside down of course.
-
Perhaps you need to attend more wtc events.
its a great spectacle, the skill of the riders is amazing and they are real trial riders. Dougie a trick rider? No way!!!
(ps it should be too not to in your signature surely?)
-
They are looser but are better for winter than summer as they are not that well ventilated. Hebo is better imho
-
I saw the moffsters engine last night, nice!!!
-
So remind me which trials 2t motors go in mx bikes?
The radical idea of a sidevalve failed to produce enough power so i guess the idea is shelved.
-
He has certainly proved he can ride well in a low scoring event and keep his cool so job done.
Just one phrase "one swallow doesn't make a summer".
-
fuji wins day 2 portugal then cabby then raga
-
Think he's done it again. thats 4 times clean!
-
No there never was a 4t rule in trials it was a decision by Honda to go all 4t nothing trials specific. Now whilst you may have inside knowledge of the fim in switzerland trials cannot do without any manufacturer big or small, whatever personal preferences we all have.
-
That would be a good start, someone needs to realise that the French hopefuls/also rans Bethune (and a few others I can't think of!), Spanish Gibert Freixa oliveras, British Morris Danby Haslam and connor could all be doing the top route if it were of a 30 30 30 hard medium easy standard and there were some kind of start money. How much better would the series be with 30 in the top route?
Bou finishes on 10 or less and these lads go home on 70? Everyones a winner.
Simples too!
-
I don't know how many world rounds you have seen lately but regardless of what was wrong with round one, every section was completly natural. Most rounds have a man made section near the start and thats it.
-
This is part of the problem, even when Dougie was at his best he didn't win all the rounds he had close competitors, that really isn't the case at the moment and therein lies a problem.
-
It will be interesting to see what happens with the youth and juniors as last week they had ridden the sections.
I think Bou first is unfair.
-
I really do but why are they bringing them in?
The riders are now riding "out of order so from a spectators viewpoint or occasional viewer if they see one of the top 3 ride first then wiggy fiving it will be of no intrest and certainly it would be deemed possible when Bou nearly makes it. Why is it only 1 min it reduces the time in the section by 30% there fore less to actually watch. If all the sections had been 90 seconds last week then Browny would have got through a few I'm sure. If its 1 minute modify it so it allows non stop riding with more space to loop round and keep on the move.
I am sure if the FIM with best intentions had said we need this or that and discussed it with the riders they might have got closer.
Very few if any concessions were made to several new rules.
-
199b had an alloy one do you mean that?
Benifit is that it reduced frame bending.
