  1. HMMM, is she the one that always seems to be the celeb at the start of NASCAR races????? seen worse I suppose!!! So Steve, was she part of the Forsberg Trade?????? Back on topic; had an interesting experience at work today, we've been having a few "issues" with our phones. The phone rings and the sultry female (definately) Canadian accent pours down the phone. mmmmm nice (pity she was a habs fan)
  2. If it was that Mark I'd be better wearing padded trousies, wouldn't hurt my backside so much when I fall off Got them, special ones for inside my skates others for other sporty things....., boots are knackered anyway and as for the last bit she said Santa would bring me a pair if I met up with him in Fort William.......
  3. I know there's another (fairly recent) thread on boots but this ones a little different. Each have their pluses and minuses, I'm not bothered about wet feet, I can buy socks to combat that what I do need is something that will give me the best ankle support I can get. Both of my ankles are knackered and I'm fed up hobbling around for a couple of days after a trial because my ankles are sore. Any advice much appreciated
  4. I like that tip......give that a try later I think
  5. Canucks fan....nuff said
  6. mmmmmmmm Just googled Terri Clark... I'm thinking it's the one on the left???? Although I can't see an adams apple on the one on the right, there does seem to be signs of one on the left??? I looked at an album cover..........phew
  7. I know your probably only making a point from mine and cota's name but ... how rude! lol i am quite neutral with views about bikes what i usually say is go out and try ever bike , its going to be yours so you may as well like it. Where abouts you from fredster ?? Could have said any names Lewis, but you have Gas Gas in your "handle", Cota Kid likewise
  8. Yeah, spot on Taff...........I bet she has a great voice Keep taking the tablets
  9. Fredster, You'll get the standard replies here: 1. I'll say Beta because thats what I've got and because Gas Gas, Sherco, Scorpa and Montesa are rubbish 2. Cota Kid will say Montesa because thats what he's got and that Gas Gas, Sherco, Scorpa and Beta are rubbish 3. Lew Gas Gas will say Gas Gas because thats what he's got and that Montesa, Sherco, Scorpa and Beta are rubbish....... etc etc etc Get the picture Best answer is try to ride as many different bikes as you can before you settle on one. There's NO BAD BIKES these days choice comes down to what suits you and what feels right Happy Trialing
  10. Run Atf, clutch loveley and smooth gear change nice and easy till the plates started wearing out. Suggest its probably more your plates than the oil.
  11. Hey Jay I just down loaded that tune.. He'll be on here later protesting his innocence.... .... We had a family come to Aberdeen a few years back, kids joined the hockey club and I'll tell you what she had some voice, melt candles from 50 feet away
  12. NOOOOOO, necrophilia is not my thing ......I just wondered if the Copenhagen reference was to the Duke of Wellingtons Horse....... especially when you mentioned the Rodeo...
  13. ....and I thought this was a family website... the mind boggles
  14. Get many Canucks in Mills & Boon books then? Don't know mate, never read them....do tell
  15. Is that not a Vauxhall Chevette Actually I hate to say this because that Begger Fracy's ego will swell beyond all redemption. In our years around Ice Hockey we have come into contact with many Canadians and that's what gets Mrs Slapshot going, a Canuck drawl, especially a western canadian accent...
  16. Western Isles does it for me. A lass from Harris or Lewis - that sorta region Baaaaaaaa Perhaps........Western Isles Dating Agency
  17. I must admit, listening to the soft dulcet tones of Joanna Lumley certainly does it for me American women's accents just don't have it I'm afraid Tottie by age group Ian ?............. I think Steve has it sorted, It's the deep Scots accent that does it
  18. come on then clever clogs you do better....... i've edited it a little might be clearer now
  19. I'll try....first highlight and copy the URL of the link. Once in the reply box when you want to put in a link, click the button on the toolbar with the green arrow and the plus sign. (if you run your pointer over these button on the bar above a tool tip will come up to tell you what each does) This will bring up a text box, paste the URL into this box, press okay and this will bring up another text box where you can give your link a title. Press okay again and it will put the code into the text of your message. When you hit "submit post" the code will only show the name of the link on screen. Example: [ url="http://www.trialscentral.com/forums/index.php?" ]TC Forums[/url] spaces added as example. which when submitted becomes TC Forums hope this helps
  20. Did you look at some of the other galleries.... Andy we went to the wrong show mate...
  21. Can I just throw a quick comment in: from Overthehill's post: If anyone ever gets into this position, god forbid, watch out for the word expenses. At a tribunal I was forced into a couple of years ago (My ice hockey club had, to all intent and purposes, sacked a volunteer coach and as chairman he took me to an Employment tribunal, through the Racial Equality Council (he was Canadian) Equal Ops etc etc etc), his solicitors tried to get the board on his side by suggesting that travel expenses I was given to go meetings all over the country were payment in kind for a wage, despite the fact we were all volunteers. Their arguement was that if we were paying people "unreasonable expenses" then we were deemed liable for all aspects of employment and company law. The only way out of that for us was provision of club accounts. Pain in the Backside whatever way you look at it

I suspect the guy was trying to make a fast quid or two, knowing the initial popularity of the beast he maybe thought I'll buy it then flog it for a tidy profit ....Shame
