Have I Missed Something-acu Sport Moto Magazine?
we all have lives to lead and unless trials pays the rent and feeds the kiddiwinkies then it always has to come second. DON'T give folks grief for giving up their own time for the betterment of the sport

Jeez, Kinell, I feel sorry for you but have to say even Mrs Slapshot, much to her disgust, knows most of the routes like the back of her hand these days, specially where to turn left at Lochailort i used to love hearing old stories my old man has hundreds but as I get older ( 40 today) I rather be getting some of my own

Rules Are Rules
i'm with woody on this one. Another thread on these boards has been discussing the '83 Scottish. I remember the top section on Ben Nevis that year, two cleans Martin Lampkin and Bernie Schrieber, that was it. Long straight wide section with a big step in the middle awkward run in, didn't nee to be any harder than that. This year, Jarvis won on 14 marks next closest was 24. Rules: No Stop tough sections all the same though. WTC has gotten so far away from the reality of trials that it's unlikely to come back unless the FIM look at and enforce NO STOP, It is the only way that WTC will start to increase entires across the classes. The Scottish is a good indicator of that. Whether TV comes in or not, Sponsorship will only fall to the top two or three riders, it never does filter it's way down, same in every sport unless it's a headline sponsor, like the premiership. Money filtering down is part of the rules. It brings the old arguement back but No Stop really is the best way forward..no pun intended

Bt Homehub
Cheers neonsurge, just what I needed. No point making the change because everything works really well here. I'm getting up to 9.1 mb linespeed with a Voyager router. Sprog has wireless to his room and I can get my laptop going at the same time. Looking again I not the small print on the Digi phone......don't think we'l bother Cheers Slapshot

what do you mean? - we do arrange that weather - do you think that you come up here for a holiday? to ponse about in the sun and top up your tan? - no; we book the week of totally unpredictable weather to add to the challenge. back to your first post: 1983 my first ssdt year as well - 156 fantic (as well) with baconslicer number plates - dropped 566 marks - before you say anything the winner (Tony Gorgot) was the only one under 100 marks - you think its hard now?? will i tell them what you dropped Gizza5? basically we were riding the same sections you do now but with twinshock bikes and pre-sticky tyres. greetings OTH hope you and the gang are well. Go on tell us what Gizza 5 dropped......... Can't really say anything, I've never tried

Schreiber at Achlain, 1982. Can't credit the photographer as no idea who it was, but it would be pretty fair to assume it was Enrico. ...And on the Saturday he rode with a Killie scarf on......and I got stung on the neck by a ******* wasp; hero worship!!

I daresay Andy will have the stats but has there ever been a single thread on the foums with more hits than the beta 4t thread, over 7500 page hits, incredible.

Beta 4-stroke
Too Late Barry...EVERYBODY in the trials world knows you now mate When I got rid of the honda I din't think I'd fall in lust with a four banger again so quickly but I'll make an exception in the Beta's case

Japanese Dancing Girls
we're not interested on the road, only what the Girlies were up to

Japanese Dancing Girls
Typical dictatorship.......Andy only has one vote..one more than the rest of us put together

Japanese Dancing Girls
Now if only I could publish those photos I have of a stripped-down 4-RT factory bike gearbox (Fuji's) that I took in Japan... (Nobody's actually said I can't, but as I know it would cause a lot of hassle if I did they will remain offline and part of my private collection - along with most of the photos of the Japanese dancing girls ) well at least tell us whats in the pictures if your not going to show them, oh yeah and if you must you can tell us about the gearbox too. gearbox..schmeerbox. now about these dancing girls.... From the Beta Forum Andy keeps going on about these Japanese Dancing Girls so the poll question is this...Should Andy Divulge more of his Japanese Dancing Girls Pictures??
-
Steve Mcqueen
wonder how well the old man's would scrub up..... No greedy; enough to get a new Beta 4 banger would do

Beta 4-stroke
It is not down to Gary, John or anybody else at Beta UK to make "announcements". It is down to the factory. End of. What's this virus marketing nonsense I heard about the other week, they are not using TC fro that are they??
-
Beta 4-stroke
What I meant to do was this...pillock As far as I am aware, there has been nothing official from Beta re pricing yet. In fact there's been nothing official from Beta period! As an aside, apart from the massive number of views on the front page article that are still rocketing up, the Beta forum on Trials Central has been the most viewed of ALL the forums this month - including the General ones. That's never happened before that a bike forum on here has beaten any of the "General" ones. centre of the Trials Universe...the TC Beta Forum It's been worth waiting for it looks superb even Mrs Slapshot thinks it looks the doggies danglers..persuasion time
