  1. I did the same on my bike scuffed plates up and clutch friction plates works good now i can start it in gear no problems
  2. I have a fixed rack mounted bike rack its really good got myn for 20 pounds fle bay has lots of new or new ish ones cheap

  5. I took my pump cover off tonight bit of corrosion but not round the seal or o ring edge i took the impeller off and the seal fell out so i think that was the problem seal looks ok so i tapped it back in with a socket and re fitted it all will find some good coolant tomorrow and see how it goes

  7. hello i just sold my 99 techno if you take the oil out and take clutch cover off and take clutch plates out scuff the plates up with sand paper and put back then use the thinest oil or car atf you can get it in 5l tubs from halfords for 22 pound then you can change it more often every 5 hours of use this should help you aswell http://www.trialsport.com.au/beta/documents.htm brake discsshould move about and the techno takes about 400ml of oil hope this helps
  8. ok thanks wil take it apart and have a look ive got seals and shaft / impeler but will see if its losing water and take pump off and take a look . sounds like i need a case even feetup on ebay sell the case so must be common
  9. piston and rings are about 185 pound and i dont think you can get a re bore only a chromium (sp?) replate so try super and make sure you have the right mix 70;1 or 60;1 to little oil will make it knock . super burns cleaner and faster so you can run a bit more oil
  10. there is not more oil in than i put in i would think it would fill gearbox up?
  11. Helo all I just got a 2004 rev 3 250 but the gear oil was very grey so changed it for some atf and after one ride its gone grey ? is this a current problem or should i just keep changing it till its not grey anymore or should i flush it out?

  13. i just did my bike al it was was the friction plates needed a scuff up with sand paper and bam work fine now from cold I think its worth doing when it starts to drag the glazing makes the plates stick together

  15. ive been having problems with my techno when i stop the engine in gear and pull clutch in i cant move it its locked up a few rocks back and forth and it frees up but still drags ive had the clutch apart and it all looks ok what else could it be clutch is also very sharp

  20. get some hide? food its cream for leather put **** loads on then it will soften them up
  21. the guys at lampkins told me that head bolts and barrels bolts should just be done up the same and torqueing dont matter so i wouldent trust them with a timing figure i will try retard it a bit and leave it at that as long as its less snappy i will be happy
