What, they controlled the propulsion of the bike using a small two position rocker switch situated under the tank?

  • I only made the comment as programmable traction control seems to defeat the whole purpose of trials.

Thanks mate. I will no doubt tear into the CV carb when the bike gets here.

Mostly to satisfy my curiosity and will call my mate over at Mikuni to get the low down on the CV carb.

Stay tuned as need more help adjusting to a four stroke!

Cheers

Ben Hemingway - Beta Evo300 4T - leading the Scottish six days into the last day. Any doubters that this bike can cut the mustard in top level competition?

pick my new 300 up next weekend  does anyone know if the back spring is still quite soft for the heavier rider and is it worth swapping it out for one of steve saunders springs? im 13 stone

I own a beta evo 4T 2011 with stalling problems usuely after droping the bike down. It won't restart until many try and pulling the hot start lever. Another problem that can be solves with a new part I guess is that the hot start mechanism is not working properly (Lever Not staying in place).

billyt, I bet since 2010 you've been experienced in that matter :icon_salut:

Has the mikuni carb been improved over the years?

Could you help out to solve mine?

Thanks in advance
