You did a beautiful job.

Ciao

Doug Wilson

Not of riding the trial he didn't. Believe me!

:wall:

Ha Ha BS, in fact I had a storming ride today in the mud at the group trial, nailed them two half-wits i ride round with :wall: (make up for last week eh :P )

Thought I'd left you a sitter there. I retired last week :wall:

Bike looked bloody good mate - I have to admit I didn't like the alloy tank idea you had a while back, but credit where credit's due, the paint job's spot on.

P.S. I still don't want one.....yet :P

How good is that. :wall::P:P Well done Marky. To protect your swing arm stickers from boot rub I use transperant 3M tape, the 1mm thick gauge. It is very pliable so it can wrap right around the top and bottom edge so the boot has no edge to catch on.Also cover the exposed air box to stop the abrasive action of mud and grit from your boot.

Cheers Guys :wall:

>craftypiggy> Bike looks brilliant,What type of paint is it Marky?

Lloyd>

Paint is 'Kawasaki Orange pearl' it's what the old two stroke KH triples of the 1970's used to be sprayed in...it's metalic.....looks great when the sun's out.

The swing arm stickers are from a MX sticker kit and are really tough, I would like some of that clear stuff though..where did you get your's from ?

On another note, I seem to recall somebody posting about a better type/make of Sparkplug than the std one...for the life of me I can't find that posting...anybody know what plug to use?

Nice looking bike - I was thinking of "reversing" the colours of my 03 Scorpa tank - have a white tank with blue stickers, but we'll see.

As far as sparkplugs go the best I have used is the Bosch WR9DP. You could also try NGK B©P4EVX - that wasn't too bad either. Steer clear of the NGK iridiums (BKR5EIX) cause they seem to foul up easy - despite what they say about iridiums.

I think those Bosch's are the same plugs as what's used in early BMW M3's so go to a BMW specialist and grab 'em. set the gap at 0.6mm and she's as good as gold.

Cheers,
