A few weeks ago I posed some pics by Carlos Iso of what could have been if Bulto and Ossa had survived. Those pics were orginally posted on Todotrial. Seems Carlos has taken the story a little further, into the late '80's. Anyway here's some more (again, thanks to Yoyi at Todotrial):

I think the engine in the Bultaco drawing was more than likely inspired by the MK15 Pursang Motor. The MK15 engines external features were at the time obviously inspired by Japanese designs.

I was comparing the cylinder finning which looks nothing like the tlm (to my eyes anyway!) BUT very similar to the mk15. I did say the MK15 was styled on Japanese engines didn't I?

But you are right, especially looking at the bottom end and much of the detail behind the motorafter. Now see the picture you posted, it could almost be what he worked from.

The TLM is a nice looker, end of story.

I bet they could make a econo air cooled trials bike based on today's machines, fins have to be lighter and cheaper to produce than the liquid cooling system

They could and Scorpa do but the masses wouldn't buy it as it's not trendy enough even if it was 200/250cc.

not bad for a 125??
