October 20, 201114 yr Disagree,there really is no other female rider in Laia's class at present. The only way she will not be world champion for the next decade will be of her own decision not to compete. Others could only get a look in is for a repeat of a World round with substandard section where a single 5 gave it away. The harder the event the cream just rises.
October 21, 201114 yr 3 trials a year is hardly a career world champ or not? Yeah you right, to only have three recognised Womens world events is pretty lean pickings for all the hard work they put in. Even if they had the same number of events as the men, Im sure you would still see Laia on top. That's probably why they do cut a bit of slack for Laia to compete in the world rounds against the men.
October 29, 201114 yr I heard steve saunders say sje wasnt at the uk round because of funds, hopefully gag gas can support her more as its good having a female riders in the sport
November 11, 201114 yr She may be the only professionally paid female rider, not sure about all that, but seems others have such things as school, jobs and other things besides riding practice. One thing no doubt, she is agressive in her riding and is not scared of big stuff! She rides well with the boys and can kick some ass!
