March 12, 201313 yr Anyone fitted one of those nice looking fiberglass covers on there Mono Yam??? Two things, Fit???, Quality, do they take a knockor two.
March 13, 201313 yr Yes they fit really well, Never dropped it to find out but as they are a cosmetic cover there are no issues with leakage
March 22, 201313 yr Yes i've got one too - very good value and really smartens the bike up, appeared a bit flimsy but once fitted seems up to the job and the tank and frame stiffen it up quite a bit.
April 16, 201412 yr I have one on mine. I have banged it around quite a bit. The only weak area is on the right side between the tank and the rear mount where the airbox "tube" is as I layed it into the rocks and it flexed in and some stress cracks resulted. I have a year of alot of use on mine.

October 14, 201411 yr Yes, you could buy tank covers for the TY Mono but not sure about leather, usually PVC or suchlike Still available from In Motion in the UK.
January 25, 201511 yr Looking at one of these for my yam, I'm guessing they go over your tank, and I'm guessing you do away with the std seat unit ?
