October 2, 200520 yr Chris has just had some Blue Domino grips added to his bars. They have a hard core and a soft grip. Cost
October 3, 200520 yr They were fitted new to my bike 3 trials later they had worrn through to the hard compound. Don't lik the bits you put in the ends they fall out. The soft compound is too soft lovely when new but dont last, ends seem to be fatter than ness there fore felt a bit like I had those daft bar end things. My reccomendation are the arriete (I think) very plain black grips last for ages and dont seem that hard available from MRS at a good price.Even have a wiring groove.
October 3, 200520 yr Couldn't disagree more. I've had the blue dual compounds on all season and not worn through to hard inner liner yet. Very comfortable grips and cos of hard liner do not slip on the bars in any weather.
October 3, 200520 yr True, but of all different types of Domino grips available i would always choose them and they haven't worn out after only 3 events.
October 5, 200520 yr If you can't "get on" with Hard grips then the domino's seem a good compromise. The Renthal soft grips tend to split and let in the muck and also move on the bars(yes I used the glue. These Domino's seem to be immune and the end hasn't fallen out yet.
October 5, 200520 yr I too had a pair of the dual compound grips and like Dabster said they go smooth really quick, bit annoyed when they had cost me
October 5, 200520 yr I bought a box of dirtbike grips on Ebay. 20 pair for $40. At that price, I love them. I trim the flange part to make them look like trials grips. It doesn't help, but I'm a slave to fashion.
July 29, 200917 yr Hands down, Best grips ever! I've had mine on for over a year ridding every weekend and they've done the Scottish 6 days and they are no were near worn out let alone worn through to the hard bits. Dabster must have sand paper hands or something.
