over the years riding various model betas I've noticed they all have a tendency to slip teeth when driving the kickstart through. despite altering my technique ensuring gears are engaged, from time to time it still 'cracks' or 'crunches'. a real unpleasant noise and feeling as it slips. I even have a brand new bike that does this. .anyone else noticed this?

I've never had this issue with my 2012 250, my old gg321 did it once.

Yeah, I noticed when I put my Zero`s through my calf. 3 layers of stitches and a drain.

the zero has that horrible steel starter that resembles a knife when things dont go right

My beta was the same, though to be fair my Sherco did it as well.
