Recommendations on oil to fuel ratio and brand of premix for a Fantic 300 please.

I used Castrol fully synthetic stuff in my at around 60-65/1. Use they same in my 305

Avgas/Motul 800 at 60:1 in my TY80s and my 305. 

Avgas and Maxima Formula K2 in both the 73 OSSA MAR and the Scorpa SY250R.  I take a beating about mixing and running 50:1, but have no spooge with proper jetting, and after talking with Maxima, opted away from anything less oil than 50:1.

Yamaha and Scorpa wanted 40:1 in the SY.

in the 1984 Fantic recomended 2% (50:1) with Esso 2t sport motor oil (mineral) or Esso AQUAGLIDE

this info came from the original italian owners manual 1984

 

I run my air-cooled bikes at 40:1 never had a problem. 

I fact I've just had a look down the barrel of my Suzuki and I can still see the honing pattern after 10 years running!
