March 23, 20215 yr Hello My 74ty 250 starts fine and will run for 10 minutes or so ok then when the throttle is opened it stalls like getting no fuel. Carb out and cleaned several times. Today it seemed to recover for a few moments when I pressed the choke. Vent pipe is not blocked New points and condensers, new crank seal on that one side only, must do clutch side next. Whats left ,carb rubbers or gaskets, reeds Had anyone this issue before.
March 23, 20215 yr I had a similar problem with my ride-on mower, it would run for some time Ok, but then went all weak at the knees. It turned out to be a blocked fuel tank exit hole, which needed three blasts with an air compressor to clean the debris out of the pipe. You might have the same problem, best of luck..
March 23, 20215 yr If the carb is a similar type to that on the TY175 there is an O ring surrounding the main jet which needs to be a good fit into the float bowl when it is fitted. Remove the float bowl you will see it.

March 24, 20215 yr Check the tank breather. Connect pipe to the fuel tap and drain into a container. If insufficient flow of air into the tank , flow of fuel will slow or stop. Just had this issue with me Beta. I had fitted one of those one way valves to the breather pipe and it was faulty.
March 24, 20215 yr As mentioned above, check for crud in the tank, had a bike once that did the same as flow was restricted due to an in tank fuel filter being partially blocked with debris
