Coolant for aluminum blocks ok. The fan is worn, lubing won`t help. Make sure the thermo is bypassed and you can push start it with your fingers. Most fans will fit it. It should take closer to 300 ml, but I cannot remember exact amount. A bit of piston slap is most of it.

The nut adjusts the spring preload.

My Fantic Section had an overheating problem which caused pinging. I found out that the old hoses got soft and the one at the pump on the suction side would squeeze itself shut. I replaced it with a metal gas water heater hose.

Thanks.

Is the gas hose, the stainless steel braided type, and where did you get it from.

One of the hoses seems to touch around the exhaust..

To change the fork oil is it simply drain, remove the top nuts, fill and replace nuts, or you you need to Dow something to the two adjusters on the top ????

Changed the coolant, 500 mls.

Good weekend trial, 40 section day, Fantic ran like a dream, apart from hand starting the Radiator fan, now and again.

Took my 10 year old daughter for the first time, and was asked why I wasn't in uniform, like the others.

First pic is my uniform. Then it warmed up a bit.
