My Grimeca rear brake plate cam bushing is very worn....the cam is also bent (go figure!) it works fine still but obviously needs repairing. Can anyone recommend an enginnering shop to do this...I can post, but based in Norfolk if anyone knows somewhere local. .. need to source a rear cam first though!

Hi guys, bit of back ground first... now I'm actually doing some trials with my SWM TL320 I have been playing with suspension. But coming from enduro's I've come to the conclusion that I may be out of my water a little? She has Magicals springs up front and Sammy Miller gassers up the blunt end. When she came to me the front and rear were set up for a erm' heavier rider (well built Steve, all muscle!) with 50lbs/in rear springs and 135mm of preload in the front springs, I weigh 11 stone. I had very little front and rear sag. First trial I just rode her as was. She rode very high too, I could of rolled over a 45 gallon drum without scraping the bashplate! Since the firs…

Anyone know what the difference is between the standard handlebar and the Dougie Lampkin bend version? ....were the Lampkin bend handlebars always a dark metallic grey? thanks as always

Hi troops, Recently bought a kwacker kt and have just got round to looking at it. It's been well looked after with a recent engine rebuild and frame powder coat, but one of the front fork caps has a hole in it which obviously lets air out! It's a clean hole I.e. It's been drilled and has a hole in the inside of the cap, I,m not up to speed on suspension , but this surely can't be for any reason, or am I missing something I can't see the wood for the trees! The other cap is fine!

Can anyone tell me where I can get hold of a pair of Magical fork springs ? Is there a UK importer now

My SWM's drum brakes have my attention at the moment and searching for improvements to drum brakes came across a few references to using 2 pack paint hardener on the brake linings to 'pep' them up. These threads were from afew years back....and not posted April 1st. Seems the linings were lightly sanded down then 2k hardener was painted onto the linings, left to dry for a day, then sanded down again, refitted and hey presto (shazam may work too?) improved brakes....although why this should work no one knew? Anyone doing this these days? (Obviously no substitute for properly maintained brakes I will add...just curious)

A t/s rookie question, I keep seeing this reference to the 'more modern riding position'....is it simply lower footrests or are riders looking for more than that? ...for instance what is the more 'modern handlebar positioning'....where does the 'body' sit 'in' the bike etc. ...is it all just an aid to go from new to old t/s's or is the 'modern position' a better set-up period? I've owned 4 trials bikes, 1980 Sherpa 250, 2003 Monty 315R, 2002 Beta REV and now my 1980 SWM if that helps someone to explain things..but never owned more than one at a time! thanks for your patience guys

Is it possible to strip these shock and if so how?, I'm only interested in getting springs off to give them a clean and refinish the bodies. Many thanks guys

My 'new to me' SWM TL320 came with a 'fast action' Domina throttle assembly going by the receipt, is there really a noticeable riding difference between fast and slow actions or marketing hype? cheers guys PS I think I need a slow action...I'm white section std

Sorry to be back on this hobby horse of WES exhausts for Bultaco Sherpa-Ts but I really remain incredulous that WES doesn't have even a rear exhaust for the world's most popular vintage trials bike. I recently sent an email to Bob Ginder at B&J in the USA who apparently have some business relationship with WES. Bob tells me that WES told him that they don't get many requests for exhausts for Bultaco Sherpa Ts. and thats why they are not in the catalogue. I find that absolutely fascinating. Please could anyone tell me the correct specification (width, radius, length, height, etc) to replicate the low mounted alloy 'trials' version of the front mudguard original to the Sachs engined Wassell trials bikes of the early 1970's ? I'm trying to restore a bike and photos I've taken off the internet seem to vary. One supplier I contacted tells me he has over 60 different sizes of front alloy 'trials' mudguard so I need to be more specific. Thanks.

I am looking for some pictures, preferably colour for a friend of mine in France to finish off a Gollner Kawa. Also is anyone currently using one in twinshock trials and can they tell me what rear shocks you are using. Thanks
