Hey everyone, Is anyone going to the new Bikefest UK show at Donington this year? I'm a bit of a sucker for a show and was wondering is anyone else has heard about it? It looks like it could be quite interesting but it's a new thing so will it be a hit, who knows? As well as all the usual stands trying to gain access to your wallet there's the chance to ride the circuit and the trials / enduro side looks well covered too with the oppertunity to ride a selection of bikes on a specially constructed track as well as an off road school which could be interesting as most shows are so roadbike focused it gets a bit tedious after a while. Let me know, Simon

Looking back in the forums I see a few of you are MOH devotees. My eldests MOH pacific assault loads and the dissappears. Closes. Crashes. Whatever. I'm no fan of games. Rather be riding. But that's an aside. Any of you heard of this before?

I've always bought our weekly Trials and MotoX paper... you know the one. I have it on subscription at the moment. I can remember rushing down to the shops on the way to work in the early 80's to get it. But these days I am starting to wonder if it is good value for money any more. There are 30 pages dedicated MX, quad & Enduro and five on motorhomes. What does everyone else think? Is

Now I know a trials web site isn't perhaps the first place you'll think of when you want to build a PC, but we do tend to get a good spread of technical levels on here, so as I live here, I thought I'd ask you lot. I've built PC's for years, up until the point where it sort of became easier and sometimes cheaper to buy the thing as a job lot, but what I want to build at the moment is something to record sky TV. I bought a digi box a while ago with built in hard drive recorder What I'm thinking of is something like a liquid cooled shuttle, with a TV card, and an infra red transmitter to automatically change the sky box channel, so I just take the RF out from the sky bo…

A virile, middle aged Italian gentlemen named Guido was relaxing at his favorite bar in Rome when he managed to attract a spectacular young blonde woman. Things progressed to the point where he led her back to his apartment and, after some small talk, they retired to his bedroom where he rattled her senseless. After a pleasant interlude he asked with a smile, "So, you finish?" She paused for a second, frowned, and replied, "No." Surprised, Guido reached for her and the rattling resumed. This time she thrashed about wildly and there were screams of passion. The sex finally ends and, again, Guido smiles and asks, "You finish?" Again, after a short pause, she returns his s…

I heard that BVM's monthly turnover increased by 16% today and GPM by a further 2% for the quarter. Mark was also seen booking a Mediterranean cruise later in the day and they shut up shop just after 3.00 pm. Lampkins should be restocking the shelves Monday morning as they were running low on Beta spares, Airoh helmets, Exciting jeans (XL) and Gaerne boots. Now was it a coincidence that Ralph was spotted leaving BVM at 2.55 with 16 bags of goodies? Lisa

Some of us are desperately curious to know what those gals are all about on the other side of the pond. I know the obvious difference is the way they talk, but are they really more discerning and demanding of their men? I read a bit about the subject and one American woman said that American men are "substandard, chauvanistic rejects who live in trailer houses and scratch themselves", and that they "have no redeeming qualities". She said that "no self respecting English woman would have anything to do with an American man". Now I have observed that American women are usually very interested in English men. They hear them talk and go all wobbly. I wonder what happens to En…

In case you need further proof that the human race is doomed because of stupidity, here are some actual label instructions on consumer goods. On a Sears hairdryer: Do not use while sleeping. (darn, and that's the only time I have to work on my hair). On a bag of Fritos: You could be a winner! No purchase necessary. Details inside. (the shoplifter special?) On a bar of Dial soap: "Directions: Use like regular soap." (and that would be how???....) On some Swanson frozen dinners: "Serving suggestion: Defrost." (but, it's "just" a suggestion). On Tesco's Tiramisu dessert (printed on bottom): "Do not turn upside down." (well...duh, a bit late, huh)! On Marks & Spence…

"Sixty is the worst age to be," said the 60-year-old man. "You always feel like you have to pee and most of the time you stand there and nothing comes out." "Ah, that's nothin," said the 70-year-old. "When you're seventy, you don't have a bowel movement any more. You take laxatives, eat bran, sit on the toilet all day and nothin' comes out!" "Actually," said the 80-year -old, "Eighty is the worst age of all." Do you have trouble peeing, too?" asked the 60-year old. "No, I pee every morning at 6:00. I pee like a racehorse on a flat rock; no problem at all." "So, do you have a problem with your bowel movement?" "No, I have one every morning at 6:30." Exasperate…
