Had a brilliant trial yesterday, all the usual things. Great day out,good sections great company. but, I also had teh biggest shock ive ever had. Across the route to the car park, one large puddle (more like a lake as I was to find out). After the last setion had been done I thought, 'yeah lets go for it', so 1st gear nice and slow. 1yard in, this iis good 2yards ooh quite a deep one! 3yards 1foot, b####dy hell. Bike sank up to the bottom of the exhaust! After what seemed like hours of underwater gear changes hopping, pushing etc I manangerd to get out of a huge hole in the middle of this inland sea. Got my GG 200 Pro 02 last week and I am just starting to look and check the fueling. Cleaned the Plug off as it was black and wet ! I've run the bike for about a hour down the woods since, and the plug is now Black and wet again ! The bike doesnt pick up that well from low down especially when its warming up. I gave it a long hard and fast blast up a hill the other day and it smoked for a while then ran a lot better for a bit but it seems to be less responsive again now. I've read many posts about adjusting pilot, main jets and Air screws etc. but the problem is that I dont know which adjuster is which ? I'm used to Fuel injected VW cars so I dont really have much…

I wonder if anyone can help me? I looked at the classifieds on the site and saw someone selling OF3 trials boots. I tried to look up some info on the web but only got MTB sites describing their apparel, not these boots. Has anyone any experience of these boots and/or any pictures? Are they even for motorcycle trials? Maybe they're for bicycle trials or something. Also, has anyone tried a pair of Forma Gripper boots? Opinions? Cheers..........

I've been thinking of buying Ryan Young's Tyre Beader but it never seems so important until you have to turn or change a tyre again. I put a new one on this morning in about 7 or 8 minutes, then it took me nearly an hour to get it back in the bead. Eventually managed it with a ratchet strap and a high power airline when I gave up on trying at home. I'm sure Michelin are making their tyres with a larger diameter these days. I didn't even use a lever to get it back on today, it went on by hand. Seems strange that on a road bike (where you've got nice painted alloys) the tyres can be a real b1tch to get on, but trials bikes (which could stand a bit more aggro) slip on no …

A Diadora Stone boot was found at our Welsh National 4 weeks ago. A notice was put on the results on the web, but didn't make it on to the hard copy results. It's an almost new boot, so someone must be a bit miffed. We thought someone would ring but we've heard nothing. Some bits of Wales haven't got access to "t'interweb" so if you live near the bristol channel could you shout across the water for me. Got to be a Yamaha of one sort or another........ BUT.........is it the TY175..........TY80....... OR TY250 Mono....... Which sold the most...................my guess it's a TY175 Plus it was the base for specials like the Majesty and Whitehawk Everybody seems to have had one and you still see plenty still going strong after 25 years from new. Odd how a few days ago a guy says he's looking for a CCM 350 and today a CCM 350 turns up on the classifieds and CCM 350's are as rare as rocking horse s&*t. Co-incidence? I blame the illuminati!
