i want a bike for around 1500 i want a reliable and also light bike. i like the gg pros but i heard that the gearbox's are s*it. also i like the sherco but ive heard to many things about the main bearings, also i think the normal txt will be good but maybe a bit to heavy. does any body no the weight of these bikes? thanks.

What is the difference between trials gloves and motocross gloves? I'd imagine they are lighter and provide better feel. My current gloves are MSR World Tour and are really nice but the seams cause big blisters and callises on my hands. What are some good trials gloves? Thanks!!

Hi I would just like to know if there is any point in taken off your flywheel weight off your bike. Should you really leave it one the bike?, Can you gain more power out of the bike?, What is the flywheel weight for? Gavin

I am getting some bits on my bike anodized, but its costing alot of money, which I don't really have So I was wondering if anybody could tell me what I need to do it and how hard/ long it takes, I don't mind spending quite a bit of money and time because at least then I can anodize lots of bits... . I have found out that I need a 12 Volt battery charger which I have, so what else do I need?? Could anybody supply me with a method and/or some pics, details. Thanks in adavnce, Lloyd PS. Hi all, i am contemplating treating myself to a pair of xc-ting neoprene gloves for christmas, cos i am fed up with soggy gloves on cold wet days. I was wondering if any of you have tried them, and, in particular whether the extra thickness (i presume) of the material causes much less feel at the bars/levers. I also presume (Doing a lot of presuming here!!) that they will be a bit more protective against gorse bushes and the like. Any feedback appreciated.

Just to keep you all in the frame, Mr Graham Jarvis hasn't retired just yet!! Evening All Just to confirm that GRAHAM (JARVIS) WILL be contesting in ALL the World Championships, British Championships, SSDT and the Scott Trial and some Nationals, not sure where you guys got this one from but it's a new one to Graham unless you know something he doesn't. Rumours aren't they great!!! He has twin babies to feed now remember I don't think he'll be hanging up his one piece for quite some time!!!

I'm looking for any advice on flushing out the crank case? My buddy toasted his GasGas's top end, we pulled the jug off and then had taken time off from the repair. Well some atifreeze went in the crank case and actually did weird things with the synthetic motor oil, actually froze up! You could see that every thing turned white and hardend, I've poured 2 stroke oil in there and let it soak, then put a socket/breaker bar on the fly wheel nut and loosened it up. Crank spins fine, but I'm wondering what would be a good solution to soak/flush the case? Does Napa have something for this? Do you think we must split the case and do the (bottom end bearing), or just let it s…

In the same way that passenger aircraft technology seems to have gone backwards with the scrapping of Concorde has trials done the same with the 4 strokes? Not lighter, no new technology although possibly easier to ride? Was the GG Pro the last big step forward? - Lighter and with a revolutionary gearbox, yet pretty much the same price as it's predecessor. Passenger planes are no faster than 30 years ago when Concorde was introduced. Just bigger and smoother. Whaddaya think chaps?
