Heres what happend today............ My mate purchased his first bike yesterday, a mint 02 Sherco 250. ( From Cheltenham ) The rest goes like this ...... Bike off trailer Helmet and boots on Start bike ( let it warm up ) Jump on Potter around the car park for a bit ( Before entering the woods ) Pull throttle wide open ( By accident ) whilst turning Couldn't grab the clutch Slammed into a brick wall at full wack ! At first he looked OK with just a chipped tooth and a chunk of flesh out of his chin ! Bike OK apart from snapped clutch lever and bars pushed forward But then about 15 mins later he got an itch on his right arm, rolled his sleeve up to reveal a 2…

Heard something recently about an insurance scheme where your car has some kind of black box fitted that records the mileage you do and what time of day you drove. If it could be done with bikes it could be a cheap way for younger trials riders to get legal. Just riding on the road in daylight hours for say 20-30 sundays a year, 25 miles a time wouldn't put a lot of miles on your record. How it could be turned off for trials without road use may be a problem though! Mark T

Just thought I'd mention it for people in the mid-Wales/Cheshire area. I was talking to someone at todays event, and three local bike dealers are doing a bike demo day on the 19th January. I believe the three dealers are David Jones, Steve Plain, and Wylie and Holland but I'm not definite on all of them yet, I need to do some ringing tomorrow, I was too busy dragging flags in to speak to anyone at the end of the trial. I do know that the plan is to have the Montesa 4RT, the Sherco 4T, plus a load of Sherco/Gasser 2 strokes. I don't know if there are any other 2 strokes there. If anyone fancies a ride, Graham Evans is the bloke with the details and taking bookings on 01…

As the memories of the TC Trial 2004 live at the back of everyones minds who attended, the booze, bikes, lovely weather and the great experience. Just been reading last years post about the TC Trial 04, the topic was posted in Febuary as when the regs were available (so I think). So the question to you Andy, as TC is now one year old...whats happening with the TC Trial 2005? As with last year some people got to know about it too late, and come March they had already made up there excuses...well this year there are no excuses. I believe feedback is important, and my feedback of last years trial is to keep it in the same place, same time. It was a great place, me and Li…
