Just a note to dog owners. Mr Richards the landowner has asked us to make sure there are no dogs brought to the venue this weekend. Its lambing season and the place is full of bouncy, fluffy lambs. On no account will dogs be allowed into the venue, not even on a lead and with a titanium muzzle fitted!! Dog owners...you have been warned Mark.

Having just rode the fantastic Llanfyllin Forest Trophey Trial can any members out there recommend any other similar trials coming up that include 40 sections with no road work and just a great ride off road between sections? Thanks in advance

Nev Mason was a talented scrambler and took on the likes of Arthur Lampkin and Peter Fletcher in the sixties. He joined forces with Alan Voase to create an import business under the name of Neval Motorcycles that specialised in motorcycles from behind the Iron Curtain namely Russia and Poland. Most riders have been contacted but there a few I don't have a number for - the Jack Wood is cancelled due to the weather. Sections are OK but the roads are not so for observers to get around the course and stand out in the sub zero temperatures would be very difficult and therefore make going ahead not a sensible decision on the clubs part. Days of work wasted! - we might be able to find a new date but with a packed calendar we can't promise anything. Cheers HMCC

Due to a combination of circumstances which have conspired against us the Peak Trial scheduled for 6th October 2013 and the final round of the Luscombe Suzuki Leeds Sidecar Championship has been cancelled. The limited number entries so far received will be refunded in full.

We are hosting a round of the Trials UK Challenge Lusky C & D British Championship on Saturday 18th Sept and a round of the Trials UK Ladies British Championship on Sunday 19th Sept 2010, at Home Farm Tong Near Bradford. Full directions from where you are to Tong, are available on the Horsforth DMC website. All classes are catered for and there is an option to enter on an uncompetitive no award basis. Hello folk, please take note that this weekends trial (12th March) at Rough Holden Silsden is for Novice & Beginners ONLY NOT a normal club trial as well, the TMX has it wrong. However we would appreciate some of the more experienced riders coming along to observe. Beginners trials are by far the hardest to recruit observers.
