In my "spam" folder this morning ticket discounts - looks like the GP is in UK again next year after the fantastic event at Kettering this year. The 26 event will be in Anglesey at the venue that was cancelled the last time round. I hope they get it right this time.

The Colmore Cup Centenary. To all those interested in the Colmore Cup Trial, 2011 will be its centenary year, the event first being held on 25th February 1911. To celebrate this the club is intending to organise several events during the first part of the year. The events proposed are:- A stand at the Classic off-road motor cycle show at Telford on Saturday 12th and Sunday 13th of February, where machines to represent the decades of the trial will be on display. Information on the various other events to be held will be available. A slide show presentation of the early event will be shown. Other ideas still in the pipeline. Bassenthwaite & DMC recently donated £500 to two local good causes, £250 to Friends of Mary Hewitson Hospital Keswick presented by Club member Richard Gaskell to Mr Mike Bulman & Mrs Dorothy Savage and also £250 to Cumbria Blood Bikes presented by Club members Stuart Gaskell and Lewis Gaskell (on bike) to ex TT sidecar driver Rob Fisher The money was raised from the club's summer evening Charity trials.

Lets hope the weather gets drier for Thursday 19th July, Beginners and Novice trial at Shatterford, nr Kidderminster, 6-30pm start. Ross Danby and Shaun Fox should be at hand to give out any tips and advice. If there are any total beginners wanting to have a go,please please come along and have a go, let us know if you require one to one asap so we can cater for your needs.As long as you enjoy yourself thats all that matters!!!!!!!!

Does anyone know anything about the Tottenham Trophy Trial? I'm researching the racing career of J.E.C. Purnell (John), and he was awarded the Novice Award cup for the 1947 Tottenham Trophy Trial.

I have just been on there website and was wondering if anyone on here had any training with them. The website makes the people seem very professional and the fact that they cover fitness etc as well impresses me. Can anyone out there tell me if there are any good places to practise around the Haddington area just south of Edinburgh? Is anyone heading out on the 22nd of March - could I tag along?
