Hi all help needed please . recently brought a 2016 scorpa 250 ,only owned about a month but have developed a running issue , it cut out on me last week and wouldn’t start so cleaned out carb fitted new fuel filter started fine then after about 15 min started hunting / spluttering then cut out again . Don’t know if it’s sucking in air or fuel starvation , can see fuel in filter .does anyone know what are correct jets and settings are for carb ? wanted a good bike to get back into trials but this is doing my head , thanks Tom

Hi everyone, Im completely new to motorbike trials. Not completely new to bikes, used to own a cbr 600 but decided road riding wasnt for me. Im now looking for my first bike and would like to know your thoughts. ( i know this has been covered a million times). Got around 2k to play with, from what i've read so far a 250 is the way to go. Iv seen a 14 gasgas for sale around my price range. Iv also seen a mint beta evo 290, my question is would a 290 be too much for me. I 5'11 and 15 n half stone..what do you guys think?? I know the best thing to do is try and ride each one to see for myself but none of my mates ride them and not sure where i could try them out.…

Got a TTR250 a couple of years back as a first intro to off-road in the form of Trail riding. Then discovered that the Hookwood trials centre was only 4 miles form my house so have started to wonder about having a go. Aiming to go on a Trials experience day to see what I think. Cheers

Hi newby to trials and have just purchased a 97 Beta Techno Dougie Lampkin. Been riding road and trail bikes for a while now and wanted to refine my enduro balancing skill set. Im not a 2 smoke expert so this will be challenging adaptation to different power delivery etc. Looking forward to this and have a million questions to ask from suspension setting for a 83kg guy to what is the prefered oil fuel mix, gear oil, chain and sprocket combo, or do i just shut up and ride it....thanks if you have read this far.. toodle pip.

Hi all! I am a total new guy to trial and this forum. I have been reading a lot on this forum trying to learn this new sport. I have been riding offroad for more years than I care to think about. Yesterday was my first ride on the new bike and I can see that the learning curve will be very steep. I was only able to ride it around the yard and house but it was quite fun. I look forward to learning from all of you that have way more knowledge abut this sport than I do. I have learned quite a …

I have been offered the gas gas txt 280 2007 pictured at £1500 has recently had brakes bled and car re buikt claims to be well looked after, I'm just looking for some advice on what to look out for? or if there is any other brands, model or year people would recommend for starting out? Any help would be greatly appreciated! Thanks, Brandon.

hi all before its to late I thought I have a bash at trials again , I intended to enter the twin shocks but feel it would be best to enter the veterans on a more modern bike so I found a good 300rr so just need to get a bit of practice and get a bit fitter . Something I noticed quite quickly was there is nothing to grab hold of to lift the rear when you are off half way up a slippery slope etc anyone have better idea then my leather stap over the seat area?
