Some more photos from the recent Telford Show for you to see. Note to self - empty the camera before going to a show to get more pics. Ran out of camera memory before I got to the Pre65 Scottish stand!

Hi All , I've just repaired the fibreglass tank on my Bully after it sprung a leak. I resin coated the inside and let it cure. Having looked up some older postings on the effect of ethanol in fuel, and before i refill it, is ethanol free fuel available now, and what fuel companys supply it, if any.

Is there any place in the Western US where vintage trials are laid out as they were 40 years ago so the motorcycle is moving pretty much all of the time? More a momentum thing than a point and shoot type exercise. Out of more general interest, are trials done that way anywhere in the world today?

While I recently stayed in a small hamlet in Staffordshire , I had the pleasure to meet Maurice Arden , it wasn't long before the conversation came round to motorcycles, me being a young 54 yr old and only recently started riding trials , was amazed at Maurice's knowledge of trials in the 50s to present date , but his heart was with the classics . When the conversation came round to the attire of the modern trials outfits Maurice surprised me again telling me off the boots he used to produce , the Big John super cross , the Fenman dual purpose enduro and the Supertrack model , which he supplied the British trials team with Boots and Gloves for 14 yrs . Maurice informed m…

Is anyone going to this. I have got a ride on my Panther this year. So I can show my self up in front of a crowd. It may be a bit beyond my limited skills. But you will never know unless you try.

Hi All Which way round does the points cam go on a 37A motor? The cam I have has a "1" stamped flat on the one end that could indicate the direction of rotation. The cam has a steep ramp and a much flatter ramp on the other side. When the cam is put in with the "1" on the outside face pointing forwards, the steep part of the ramp will be effective for the points closing. The Villiers manual is not much help, but I'm sure the solution is something that every Villiers owner (except me) knows. Thanks David

Hi All, I'm looking for some information on what is believed to be a Cheetah Trials bike fitted with with a Greeves headed, Villiers Engine. We recently acquired it from a man looking to sell off his late fathers collection. Me and my father are normally Bantam tinkerers by default but couldn't pass up on the opportunity to purchase what we originally believed to be a Greeves Anglian or something similar.I was wondering if anyone has ever owned one, ridden one, seen one in action or just knows a bit more about the brand than me. It was fitted with a battered metal tank with no badging, leading to the initial confusion but a spare fiberglass tank with Cheetah hand painte…

I am familiar with the AMAL concentric Mk1 carb but is the Mk1.5 the same as a Mk1 with the addition of a choke. The Mk2 looks different externally but what are the changes from the Mk1 & Mk1.5. Is the jetting & slide common to all three types ?

Hi All Here is my first posting after many hours of reading some very interesting threads. I am looking for comments on upgrading fork spring to the HFS Clubman or Expert (not that I am an expect rider, but one can live in hope) system for my newly purchased Fantic 200 FM350. Is the extra £100+ over a set of standard new springs justified? The fork upgrade will go along the Rockshocks I plan to buy for the rear. Cheers Mike
