Anybody know if this hole is meant to be here? Doesn't look like it to me? will it be a problem or will it need sorting?

Evening all, I’ve somehow killed my Evo and its a bit of an odd one. Riding across a field with my boy when we stopped to open a gate. I stopped my engine with the lanyard, lent the bike against the wall, opened the gate and pushed my bike through before shutting the gate again. I kicked her over, the engine fired up then revved it’s t*ts off. I pulled the lanyard, then the plug lead, then turned the fuel off and it stopped. Leaving me little shaken and with a long uphill push home. Anyone have any suggestions?

Hello, I have a 2015 Beta Evo 300 Factory, which I have recently been doing some maintenance. Having just changed the fork oil it would seem logical to change the shock oil as well, something that I do regularly on the KYB suspension on my Gasgas Enduro Bike. But I can't find any reference to how to change or if I should change. Can anybody please point me in the right direction with this one ? Thanks in advance

I can't find the setting in manual, my bike tends to want to tuck the front in downhill turns, i know betas have a tendency to tuck the front, mine are 10mm ATM,but watching a Beta set up video they seem to have theirs about 7mm any suggestions to make the front better as it feels like i have to physically push back on the bars as I can feel the front wanting to turn in to tuck

Hi Guys, I am new to the Trials world and recently bought a "like new" 2007 Rev 3 from a guy on the internet...yeah, yeah, I know but I have had great luck in the past...and have been going through it to right as many wrongs as I can before the snow melts. Coming from the Enduro/Hare Scramble world, I always adjusted the steering stem so the bars would automatically fall to one side or the other but on this bike, the bars will not turn without a constant push. Before I pull the front end apart, I thought I would check to see if the stiff turning is an adjustment preferred by Trials guys? Thanks in advance -

My 2012 doesn’t have the nifty hatch for air filter access. Can I fit a later seat so I would or is that more grief/harder to seal up?

Hi, I have managed to round off the small square top on the compression side of my sons evo (2011 250). its all back together but I don't hold out much hope for next time, without wrecking it completely. Any ideas, machine it smaller ? buy a new top? any body else had this trouble ? to be fair it was a bit wrecked when we bought the bike . I am not a complete animal !

giving the Beta Evo linkage bearings a lube and a couple of new ones for years i have been using good quality grease from a tub and using the end of my finger to push it in as I assume most do although I turn the needle bearings, I feel that the bearing never really gets filled with grease as well as it could does anyone recommend a good brand/type of spray grease that goes on in liquid form, therefore running right into the bearing rollers and then when left it thickens. there are so many types of grease and almost all mention bearings, or maybe all of them would do ? I considered chain lube but maybe its too tacky ? thanks

I changed the oil today on my Evo 300 4T. A small piece of metal was attached to the drain plug. Bike starts and runs fine. Anyone any ideas where it might have broken off from?

Morning all, A bike has popped up that I am considering, and was hopeful that you could advise on whether the price was reasonable? 2011 Beta Evo 250, road registered, recent clutch and graphics. Also comes with an arrow front pipe with original as well. Do trick pipes make a difference on these? If it was removed would it need re-jetting? Does this seem reasonable? Looks tidy in the photos and but need to view it as aware photos can look more flattering than reality! Thanks in advance.

I’ve bled my rear brake , but still can’t get any pressure. Also one of the pistons in the calliper will not come back out but I am assuming that is caused by the lack of pressure. Any help would be much appreciated. Cheers , Calum

Hi. Anyone else experienced problems with the front brake? My 18 Factory evo has a ***** brake. It almost takes a few fingers pull to lock the wheel. It feels slightly spongy but not serious. It just seems like the pads aren’t biting at all. A mate of mine said the original pads from new are too harder compound. Any ideas/recommendations? Thanks

Hi all - I think the slap is telling me it's time to get a new piston and replating of my barrel - 270 Rev3. It was pretty scarred and ugly when I rebuilt it after new mains but finances were a bit tight and I was eager to get it running again. Big and small ends seemed fine. Can anyone recommend a good supplier/service in the UK? I'm in the South if that makes a difference. Thanks, Mark
