OSET Electric Trials Bikes

Hi all, The DT Smith Trophy Trial run by Yeadon Guiseley DMC this Sunday 21st November will include a conducted route specifically aimed at riders with class E licences on Oset electric trials bikes. Location: Addingham Moorside, Off Brown Back Lane, BD20 0NL. The trial starts at 10.30 am, entries available on the day.

Hi... Does anyone know if you are able to put a pair of Oset 20 wheels (2012) straight on an Oset 16 (2014)? If anyone could help with this it would be greatly appreciated,

Hey guys, awsome content here on the forums. We decided to move from Estonia to Spain and the best thing about this is the weather. Our 3 year old can ride his OSET 12.5R on a daily basis enjoys every second of it. Made a small edit to youtube for friends and family to see, thought maybe I should post it here aswell and get some feedback. Enjoy (it's in Estonian but subtitled)

Oset 20 lite 2015 got lights on throttle but no response when I turn throttle. replaced the relay and a small red cable has melted when I connected it to battery cables are right places as I did them one by one. Has anyone had this issue or no what might have happened. also still have no response so not sure what that issue is

Anything specific to look at when buying a used 2017 Oset 12.5?

Does anyone have information on after market tires and brake pads that will fit the Oset 12.5R? I tried searching tires online but there seems to be different tire specs depending on manufacturer. My kid loves doing burnouts and needs a new back tire soon. Was hoping to find a more aggressive tire. Thanks.

Hi all, Just replaced throttle on late 2013 model because previous throttle kept sticking. Now wondering if we are getting full power that should be available. When my lad tried in the past to pull a wheelie he had to pull on the handle bars like you would on a push bike as well as using full throttle, probably what caused throttle to be faulty. With the new throttle there is no improvement in the ability to pull front end up, this is with speed switch 100%, power dial on full and throttle response dial on full. My lad weighs approx 54kg. We have had the bike a few years and he has used it occasionally often commenting that it wasn't right and now thinking I should h…

Has anyone found a "stickier" rear tire for these amazing little bikes? I have ordered a Shinko 241 in hopes, but can't seem to find any reports on any tire other than the stock Cheng shin.

Hi,can anybody shed some light on where I should start with my sons 07 24v 16 oset, it dos'nt seem to have the same power as his 12.5. I fitted a new set of batteries and this has made a great difference to the length of time he can ride but the actual power the motor puts out for him getting up climbs etc seems to be lacking. Ive tried disconnecting the limiter but this makes no difference, I'm now thinking,new brushesin the motor or a new motor? Can anybody point me in the right direction or had a similar problem? Hello everyone. My boy has had his oset 16 since he was 3 and rides it well. We went to take it out the other day and noticed no power, quickly located to the fuse carrier had a loose connection but on reinstalling everything I snapped one of the potentiometers for the speed, I have installed a new one and it all tests out fine ie 20k ohms for full turn and 0 ohms when in the lowest position. The potentiometer seems to work fine but will only allow 13v output to the motor not the full 36v it should be. Does anyone have any ideas or have experienced the same issues? Many thanks

Hi guys, thanks for the cool topics and answers that I've been reading for a while now. I disassembled my son's oset 16, gave the frame for powder coating and now I'm having trouble assembling the swing arm... basically the bushings are too small for the holes and I can't remember(or find) if there was anything between the swing arm and the bushings... Any help will be much appreciated!

Hey Guys, Just got the kids some Osets, any advice on handlebard padding and smaller more user friendly break levers? Breaks have made the stock adjustments, moved levers closer, oiled/greased cables, cleaned calipers and still not as smooth and close as needed. many thanks!!

How to remove rear wheel bearing? I need to change them, but does not know how to get them out.

I need to purchase male and female throttle connector set used in the OSET24 bikes. A photo is attached for reference. Basically I need to work out a male to female (small extension lead) that would enable me to take throttle voltage measures for another project. Did anyone ever manage to source these connectors?

Hi can anyone help me to understand which bearings would fit the rear of a circa 2010 Oset 16 24v. The rear bearings have just fallen out and they were the semi encased push bike type ones - shot to pieces now. Fell out when i replaced the sprocket and chain. But i would like to know if the current size bearings for a 16 would fit or does anyone know a hack or suitable replacement for the 24v 16. Keen to get the bike running again. Hello All, My grandson is interested in motorcycles and turning three. His mom seems open to him riding trials (versus mx, etc). I am imagining that kids outgrow their Osets regularly so they come up reasonably often. Does anyone know of one available in the NE US? Thanks, Ward

Has anyone put a seat onto an OSET 16 R? I’ve found some online but they’re close to $200. Wondering if a seat from a 50cc bike would fit. Cheers

Hi folks. my daughters oset 20 lite has started switching off when you open the throttle. If you switch the kill switch off then back on again the power comes back on until you try and open the throttle again. If the rear wheel is off the floor it will spin the rear wheel as soon as you put the rear wheel down it will cut out
