Hi All the clutch on my old 309 mont is worn out anybody out there know if the 315 has the same clutch plates as these are easily available or where to get 309 plates from. have been using atf in it is this suitable.? Regards Chas

I'm installing the S3 E start on a 4RT. Near the end of the under fender install, a rubber boot with a number of connectors inside is supposed to get pushed down between the throttle body and frame. This is pretty much the same as the OEM setup but one connector accepts an addition to the harness so there is maybe a little more wire. The problem is that this boot with connectors looks to be twice the size of the space it is supposed to go into and I'm not getting it in place. (The estart kit adds the battery under this area so not as roomy as OEM but I didn't get a good picture of the OEM set up of this area before disassembly.) I have pulled the airbox off again but…

Could anyone tell me what the dimensions are of the oil seal that fits in the swingarm of the 200/ 248/ 348/ 349 ? The part no. is 5140.141. I've discovered that they are missing in my Cota 200 swingarm. I'm in NZ so hoping to buy them locally., Thank you

Hi all .. I've managed to almost resolve the clutch issues.. but I've noticed the back cog for the kickstart gear ⚙️ is very damaged And no longer meshing looks like the circlip was never replaced 🤦‍♂️...how do I get it out? It's behind the gear selector finger ! Do I have to remove the whole gear selector shaft or is there an easier way..

A little advice required please, 1982 cote 248 oil qty's . (1) what's the correct oil and qty for each fork leg. (2) gear box and clutch case oil and qty's, As normal ALL help will be greatfully received

There is some kind of white residue primarily on the front wheel of my 2018. It looks sort of like mineral deposits from where water dried. Detergent, Isopropyl alcohol and acetone do not remove it. A carnauba cleaner wax removes some but is way too much work for old hands. The rag with cleaner turns black so maybe it is some kind of oxidation. Is there an easy way to remove it?

Anyone knows consequences of the fire please? I consider buying used 2023 4ride from a buddy but now doubt Honda is going to rebuild the factory. Main question for me is availability of the engine parts in the future. Any advice on this regard is welcomed)

Just bought 2021 4RT 260 which is somehow messy and I start servicing it and got shocked 🤣 Im used to simple 2 stroke, and I couldn't believe all the hoses and wires running under the tank! what a mess! On the wiring side, I want to leave the bare minimum. I dont need lights and horn. I just want kiill switch and what ever the engine need (ECU, Fuel pump, fan). Any advice here? On the hoses side, that double fuel tank vent left me confused. What the lower one is good for? Can I remove/block it or it will have some unwanted effects doing so? The head vent goes into big catch tank. Is it ok to remove it and just route the hose into the ground? …

help required to identify my new purchase to hopefully obtain proof of manufacture date to enable registration for road use for dvla, bike was bought as a cota 200 but having doubts now as may be a mh200, it came with a white tank and cota 200 decals but has a montesa honda vin plate rivitted on front of steering stock and also a stamped number on side of steering stock both numbers are the same and start as MH200 prefix, the engine number has the same last three digits as the frame number but starts with 29H so numbers appear to be matching, however the 29H is puzzling as sources suggest 29M should be the prefix, the frame has the engine protection loops and the carb is…

I have a 2016 Montess Cota 300RR (MRT300G) with running issues that I have narrowed down to the fuel pump. We replaced the gas in it but due to the shape we weren't able to see very deep into the tank. So we chased our tails a little bit on other issues and eventually got frustrated and put a strap on it and pulled it through the parking lot hoping to get it to start and got it to fire a bit, which is more than what we had at this point. Now due to the foul smell of bad fuel coming from the machine we figured it just took that much to get all of the new fuel into the lines, but it still wouldn't start. Sprayed some stuff in the airbox, kicked it good and it started up. So…

Amazing bike in amazing conditions.

I have a 2015 4RT that I bought used in 2020. I've never had an issue with this bike, but it recently sat in my garage for about 6 months without being ran. It ran fine when last put away. I replaced the fuel with fresh non-ethanol fuel and tried to start it with no luck. It will start and run when spraying starting fluid down the air boot, so to me that points to a fuel issue. I unplugged the fuel pump connector from the bottom of the tank and connected 12v to it. Nothing happened. No pump sounds. No fuel out the disconnected fuel line. Is there something that would cause the fuel pump not to pump when directly connected to 12v power, other than a completely dead pump? I…

Did anyone tried an upgraded injector in a montesa? Banyeras is selling en injector that should be better, does this just replace the stock injector or does the bike needs remapping to get the best out of it ? Kind regards Bob
