  1. From the rummers we have heard and from some people we know who live in Italy it seems that Beta are taking this different route to get around the 2 stroke ban. Because it is fuel injected you will have a have an oiled crank from a resivoir not from the fuel passing by. Imsuprised you lot don't know more because we heard about this last year i'll see if i can hunt down some more info on it
  2. Because once greenpeace twigged on that we put oil in our fuel they suddenly start thinking we're pouring oil into the atmosphere 2 stroke engine production ends in 2007 but I you will never have a ban in trials mainly because clubs would lose so many riders they would all fold
  3. well if thats the case then lets hope Beta manage to finish development on their fuel injected 2 stroke, i've heard rummers it's comeing on well
  4. These are what I wear they do the ob and protect well I also have some Hebo pro 8s that are really nice glove but only for in the summer due to there thinness
  5. This is a link to the bike trials uk site calender hopefully you can find a trial near you. Also in the clubs section I think there may be a club near you?? but i'm a Southwest lad so what would I know Hope this has helped
  6. Well now all the gloves are gone ... anyway were going to be advertising in the new mag and from what we've heard it could turn out to be a right corcker I've got some information about content lying around i'll go and find it
  7. In my opinon the 200 Rev 3 is the best bike out there, it's just so flexible and the power is so fogiving and you can pull them from 3rd gear like you would on a 250+ I've had an 01, 02, 03, 04 and have ridden an 05 in a few trials and they are just truely amazing bikes If I can ride Clubman route and beat people on 250's then i would say there is nothing wrong with the bike go and get one you wont be disapointed
  8. The guard brackets on the 04 and 05 bikes are exactly the same
  9. There's a massive influxe of people coming into the sport again or just starting it and Ebay is just another place to get your gear We have definatly noticed an increase in new riders in the shop over the past 12 months and I think it can only mean good things for trials. aslong as it doesn't get to busy with riders I can't stand queing for a section
  10. it's an 01 scorpa old skool i look a bit tired there ok this is me on my beta
  11. ok that should be a picture of me on my old scorp i'll see if i can get a picture of my new Beta
  12. I would post a picture if I knew how to???? did it
  13. Yep thats us On AN Sunday Motorcycles Did you ride Torridge last weeked? I normally stick to Devon but I will be riding all the Launceston and Devonport trials aswell
  14. Add me to the list my second 05 guard is developing a crack i think i'll be getting an 04 one when this goes
  15. then I'd get on the phone to who ever you got it from! You don't want to touch it to much as they get a bit arsey and think you've been messing with the electics. I'd stick with a good old carb myself oh well hope you get it sorted soon
  16. Ha no-one rides Torquay mainly because there are no trials there Are you part of a club yet? I live in Newton Abbot and ride every single weeked rain or shine (yes even boxing day!) What trials are you planning on riding?
  17. I now you have already done it but if you haven't make sure you do the 4 light pushes on the kickstart to charge it before starting it. Other than that i'd take it back and get it sorted concidering how expensive it is
  18. Try steaching the main spring a bit. it's a 74 bike so there bound to have some sag in them but if that doesn't work just put a bit more oil in each leg till you get it how you want it.
  19. Because basicly Lampkin and Fuji are better outdoors than they are indoors, also the Mont is going to perform much better outdoors than it does indoors. Should be good and I can't wait till Hawkstone
  20. How do you know what the reserve is?? Anyway yeah Techno's are nice bikes and that one doesn't look to bad, could do with a spruce up but i'm sure you'll have it shining in no time
  21. Thank god that is over now they can get down to some proper riding! Then well see Lampkin dominate again
  22. I think they could be onto a good thing there! coulde really help with getting your weight over the rear as long as the don't alter the geometry of your bike and if they always return back to a level position
  23. If your worried about wreaking the anodizing you could always not have the out edge of the rim not anodized?? Candy Wheels offer this option and it looks pretty nice.
