I used some like paste stuff on my ty's mudguards. Think it was astonish oven cleaner or summin like that. Worked a treat for me you then just gotta polish them after to give then a bit of a shine again. James

How much do ya reckon i could get another tlr200 in the same sort of condition as mine for? My dad might be after one James

Yeh think thats how there spose to be orignal. But when you put like a 9/10 tooth on you can use that piece so you need to get a spacer i think James

How do you tell the age of a montesa 315r apart from the plastics? I though i heard something about a few numbers in the serial number?? Just looking at one on ebay and want to know if theres a way of telling if i go and look at it. James

yeh its a flat sprocket. Only the one circlip on the outside grove.(where does the second one go ?) any pics of ya bike please? James

Hi, I am sure my tlr 200 is spose to have some sort of spacer on the front sproket shaft. As the chain has worn away a bit of the engine casing where it has been rubbing against it. The sproket i have on it at the moment is approx 6mm wide and there is about a 4-5mm gap of movement before it touches the circlip. Its not the shaft as this has a little play but not much. Even if it is not spose to have a spacer, does it have a wider sproket? i have attached a pic of the engine and sproket. Could someone please either see if there bike has a spacer or see if there sprocket is wider than 6mm I would be gratful if someone would do this for me. Many Thanks James
