  1. its a gasgas say no more James
  2. its also got 2 nearly new falcon shocks. Fork seals need doing and so does the chain and sprockets but you can ride it as it is. Any tips to look at on the bike would be helpful eg: engine oil other things to look out for etc James
  3. i take a pic of it tomorrow it is more or less ready to trial. I think the headstock bearings need tighting as there is a little slop. Needs a lilttle bit of tiding. The owner has done the following not to long ago: Cam chain has just been changed and it runs lovely It has also got 2 nearly new tyres x11s It has got loads of torque and soft power i love the sound of the wes pipe!   4. Water cooled motors run alot cooler needing less oil! Air cooled motors run alot hottor needing more oil! Also oils these days are alot better advanced than they were years ago. James
  5. How does this work ? Its not really possible, it mite be on the clucth side but not the flywheel side! James

  14. just seen your post further up saying you have no scores etc. I would just replace the rings and the little end while youve got the top off. Rings are the cheaper option so i would try that first. James
  15. If that part of the reed has got sucked into the engine that will not have done the piston or bore any good, maybe causing you to lose compression There might be some nasty scrapes done your bore. James

    I think the gas gas carbs are very similar try a mates gas gas carb its gotta run some sense better if its the carb! James
  17. Yeh stickers are a good wear point i normally think i bike with no stickers has got tatty at one point or they have fell off. James

  20. not to bad really then, just bugs you when you dont know what the problem is, you think its gonna cost loads but it doesnt in the end James

  22. even if you do get a s/h tank it is worth giving that one a quick repair and coat of paint so you can use it as you practice tank and the s/h one for best well thats what id do James
