Was thinking today about French trialling as it looks like my parents are moving to France and would be a shame not to take the bike when i visit! Does anybody know if there are any restrictions on bike racks on ferrys or the Chunnel? What sort of extra security measures would i need to take if i took the overnight down to Le Havre? Any tips or hints gratefully received. Roy.

Yes it should! I'd check that the left side of the grip isn't rubbing against the throttle body or that the throttle isn't pushed too far onto the handlebar letting the right hand inner edge of the grip rub against the end of the bar. Might be worth taking the throttle off altogether and cleaning eveything inside and the bar under the throttle tube. HTH, Roy.

Clutch plates and spacers arrived this morning and the part numbers seem to be different from the 04 and 05 part numbers so i assume that they are from the 06? 04 & 05 = MT280232051 (fibre discs) and MT280232050 (steel discs) 06 (?) = MT280432055 (fibre and steel discs) Who knows? i'll stick 'em in and see how it goes.

Hi Lew, GGUK didn't say what year the clutch packs were from just that they were only being sent (from Spain i presume) one type at present. I'll see if i can work out the year when it arrives. Roy.
