  1. Thanks very much for the explanation, my friend has never ridden on the roads so doesn't have a licence.... At a rough cost of £400 to obtain one just to ride something he may or may not like, is a bit steep. Not anyones fault, just one of those things Does anyone know if the Andorra 2 day in August requires insurance and road licences? Thanks again Metisse Jon
  2. Thanks very much.... All good for me, registered bike, full bike licence.... Not so good for my pals.... unregistered bike, no bike licence... Anyone know of any similar multi day trials that don't involve road work? Thanks again Jon
  3. Can anyone confirm if you need a full UK motorcycle licence to ride this event?
  4. Thank you. Unfortunately it won't work on my Macs Lion O/S as it no longer supports Power PC apps... Acrobat Pro works however
  5. Save some money.... Buy a Gas Gas and sell me your bike..... You know you REALLY want to....
  6. A friend of mine uses his Sidi Couriers for both, not too sure they are waterproof though. I had a pair of Gaerne waterproof trials boots but I wouldn't want to wear them on the road at any sort of speed, not enough in the way of ankle protection for me. The Alpinestars No Stop I have now would probably make good road/touring boots with their much better ankle protection although again they are not completely waterproof... HTH Jon
  7. Dodgy right knee, so it's left kick for me.... Poet who doesn't..... I'll get me coat....
  8. I've heard the same rumour.... With only six riders at some rounds of the British champs, something surely has to be done. Admittedly it could further enlarge the gap to the Worlds, but again doesn't something need to be done there? Mind you, trying to change the rules when the Spanish are so strong.....? Jon
  9. Now that sounds like a perfect plan.... do you have any details on the Italian trial? Could even take in Dherby Moto (great guys) and a trials practice area too.... Heaven!
  10. Anyone know what the equivalent levels are to the UK? I notice they don't allow you to change class, so if you enter and are either under or over your level could be a problem...
