Thanks for the replies guys,
gii, I will ask Dennis.
Lineaway, I spend a lot of the time in the US and just thought I'd try and source once while here.

Hi,
I've been trying to find a programmable throttle body for my 4rt. I went to moto world in El Cajon and they said they could get one. I then received a call today saying that they couldn't get one for me.
Where else in the USA could I find one?
Many thanks
Sam

Anyone now the best place to source a programmable throttle body.
Also has anyone got experience with the different maps that are available?

I currently use ipone 2 stroke oil and have decided to buy some castrol now the ipone has run out. My question is can I now put the castrol mixture in with the ipone mixture that is already in my fuel tank?? Or will I have to drain/run the bike out of fuel?? I'm not sure if synthetic and castor based oils will mix, even though it will be a tiny amount of each for a short time( one tank worth )

Sparky, I got it from halfords. The kids full face from halfords seem a load of s*#t to be honest. They have a massive lack of padding! So I purchased an adults full face from them, it didn't have a weight displayed anywhere so I asked they guy behind the counter and he put it on the scales that they use to weigh their paint. It came just under 1060g!! Go on halfords website and type in the search "full face fibreglass helmet". And to top it all off, it has 20% off at the minute (although they didn't tell me that in store, I had spotted the price online) the sale price is £47.99

Yeah he can reach the controls on an oset 12.5 and get one foot flat on the floor.
After a bit of shopping around yesterday, I found a full face mtb helmet that has a good amount of padding and only weighs 1000g!! Cost less than £50!

Anyone now of a good helmet for a 2yr old? I obviously need something light for him. Was thinking about a full face mountain bike helmet. Does anyone know of a good quality lightweight full face? His safety is important so price isn't really an issue.

Just got myself a vivaro and intend on stripping out the back and starting from scratch. Has anyone got any pics or ideas for a good layout? Ie. good places to build hidden storage for oils and lubes and riding kit etc. has anyone ever raised the ply off the floor and built a draw underneath?? Any ideas or previous experience would be greatly appreciated.

Thanks Andy, that's just what I was looking for. It's strange to see that the cabestany replica has got ajp brakes and not the formula brakes on the st models.
-
Anyone got any news on the release of this years Cabestany replica?? Apart from the graphics and a few bits of bling, are there any mechanical/engineering differences from the ST300??

Go on the NGK website and put in the bike details and it will show if there is an iridium equivalent available.

I'd never heard unicycle trials until today. so i googled it, and there seems to be some pretty cool stuff that can be done on one wheel. check out this link

Pidcocks stock montesa casual and riding gear. I got some new montesa trousers from them at Christmas. Give them a call.

Can someone post a video??

I bought an RST offroad waterproof jacket off eBay for £25. Very good quality and is definitely 100% waterproof. When this one wears out I will be buying another.

Getting a button fuel cap breather is the best option.

Just shy of £24k and the reserve wasn't met. If I was the proud owner, I would take that tatty tank and seat off and ride the beast this weekend.
-
Thanks for the replies. I think he will definitely be getting one for his second birthday! Until then he will have to make do with the balance bike and making the bbbbrrumm noises himself.
-
Just interested in how old people's kids are when they start riding an oset 12.5?? I'm forward planning ( saving money ) for my boys 2nd birthday ( next year ). Just thought I'd enquire the average age of kids getting started and does anyone use stabilisers to start them off?? He's on a balance bike already at 14 months and loves watching me on my 4rt and trials DVDs, so I would like to get him started as soon as I can.

As jimmy stated, the prices seem a bit expensive. Surely there is someone in the uk that can do this work for under £200??
-
What's the best way to setup my suspension for my weight?? Any input is appreciated.
-
How did it go jimmy?? Got any pics of it??
-
Fingers chooses for you mate. Where do you ride??

Where abouts are you in Devon? There's a great practice area on the north coast, in heartland. Their website is www.bikersrest.com they have all you need for trials. Hills, rocks, streams, quarry, man made etc... Give them a call, you can ride most days and its only £5 for the day.
