Counselling on stand by. Samaritans alerted.....

As the topic states, Dougie Rumours and thats what they are, rumours.
Makes an interesting topic but we can speculate all day long until an official statement is made.
For what it worth I strongly believe that he will remain with Montesa HRC for another year.
Lets not forget that Beta have Fajardo.

I sold a street in Middlesbrough to subsidise it and borrowed the rest...
-
I hope I can ride as good as Roger when I get to his age.....
Here's to you champ.
-
Bytheway the bike is not refered to as a Montesa.
-
So its obvious a phrase that you are familiar with?
-
I see that Raga has now clinched the Spanish outdoor championship from Bou, even though Bou won the last round.

No doubt a few out there will be purchasing the 2007 WTC review so I thought I would share this.
The cheapest price I have seen it for is

For a minute I thought you were on about me, until I saw the word talented.

What do you mean? The Cold War wasn't that long ago!!

I disagree with Dabster. I think that if a request went out to donate money for non lethal military equipment for soldiers, body armour for example, then people would contribute. In much the same way they give to other charities. People do have a high regard of the services, but perhaps we all need to express it a bit more.
However the liklihood of this happening is about as high as Terry Wogan giving up his

A few interesting facts about Middlesbrough and Teesside.
It is the first town in the world to owe its existence to railway.
It is alleged that Teesside was the Soviets second target in the event of a third world war, due to its heavy industry, nuclear power station. major port and skilled work force.
Middlesbrough was the first town to be bombed by the Lufftwaffe in WW2.
A quarter of the ships used to evacuate the BEF from Dunkirk were from Teesport, the second largest port in the UK.
The only VC awarded at D Day was to CSM Stan Hollis who lived in Middlesbrough.

You weren't kerb crawling over the border were you?

Hope made the trophies for the World Round at Hawkstone Park.

I think that the minute or two minutes silence has been de-valued in a lot of ways. When I was a season ticket holder at Middlesbrough there appeared to be a minutes silence every other week for someone or other.
Its difficult to put a timescale on how long the silence should be, is 2 minutes better than 1 minute is 5 minutes better than 2. The fact is we could remain silent for the rest of our days and it still would into insignificance compared to the sacrifice given by others. Thinking about those who we are remembering should always remain with us.
I think it is important to wear your poppy and also to attend the remberance day services, so as the older generation will know that we do and we will always care. The turn out at the service I go to is always well attended and by all ages.

In Flanders fields the poppies blow
Between the crosses, row on row,
That mark our place; and in the sky
The larks, still bravely singing, fly
Scarce heard amid the guns below.
We are the Dead. Short days ago
We lived, felt dawn, saw sunset glow,
Loved, and were loved, and now we lie
In Flanders fields.
Take up our quarrel with the foe:
To you from failing hands we throw
The torch; be yours to hold it high.
If ye break faith with us who die
We shall not sleep, though poppies grow
In Flanders fields.

Unfortunately Planning Departments do not have much of a concept regarding timescales for approvals, decisions etc.
Its good to see that the Yeadon & Guisley Club are obtaining the assistance of a specialist and are taking the fight to the planners.

If they were riding a couple of 4RT's in ''Middlebrough FC'' shirts would that make a difference
I do think the BMW R 1200 GS Adventurers are cool, its the only good thing in the programme. I would probably watch a few more episodes if they were riding 4RT's and wearing a Boro shirts. They wouldn't need to SAS minders then.
Gizza, have you joined the LWD fan club, you can purchase the DVD, book and t shirt. There all the rage at Groucho's dahling.
I tell you what after reading the link to the Dan Walsh article, now that would make a good series, especially the bit about Dick loving Jane and Jane loving................lets not go there.

Perhaps get Boorman to ride the Scott, now that would be a challenge for him and to his credit he did make an attempt at the Lisbon - Dakkar Rally. Which I understand he was forced to abandon early due to his Daddy getting him a walk in part on The Bill.
-
He went on to clean the section. He also did exactly the same in a later section in the final but was fived because he ran out of time. Raga did the step in one, clean.
-
Don't do soaps, but just cause there isn't much motorcycling on TV doesn't mean I have to watch 2 upper class luvvie toffs poncing around.
You can imagine it.
'At times things got incredible rough, on leaving Khartoum we suddenly realised we were running dangerously low on foie gras and quail eggs and the temperature of the Bolly was rising to slightly above chilled.'
As regards 3 months off work, what works that? One of Daddies films? Or having to attend award ceremonies and having lunch at the Ivy.

Santiveri fork sticker is on the wrong way round, apart from that looks good. Is the frame anodised or P.P.C. ?
