This came with my own Speedy and I've been meaning to post it for some time, the last two pages make for good in the field findings. From reading thru it appears it must of originated from a US dealer due to the mention of Watkins Glen world round.
When I do a slow full lock turn I turn my head far enough so I can see my rear fender, this brings around my shoulders and sticks my ass out the other side... the first time I did it I couldn't believe the difference it made, it was a real "aha" moment for me. It is always great when you are riding with a more advanced rider and they give you tips like that to help illustrate what you are doing wrong.
Great tip, tried it this afternoon!....along the lines 0f "look where you are going, not where you are".
Had mine years now and still holding up fine. As I've found with all Wulfsport gear great quality, cheap but certainly not nasty. I'd buy another pair tomorrow if these went missing
Just a perforated tube (or should be, they get blocked) I cut a rectangular hole on the carb side, repack with proprietary material. Cut and bend a cover fixed with four rivenuts, sealed with high temp silicon.
...following on from the listening to my Speedy sound track, from memory the front box is the one that need repacking....this is a case of cutting the box open?
.....would anyone have a pics on the internals of the front box,
in this video it sounds like the exhaust manifold is blowing but I can't see any spooge or feel any gas escaping....sounds a lot meatier in the flesh not as tinny as the phone recorded it.
Sorry forgot to mention other than the idle four stroking she carburates sweet as and picks up from nothing and will chug up hill on idle to.....revving out she sounds like she is running a little lean if anything.
Running 50:1 full synthetic Putolene no excess smoke.
The carb was brand new before I bought her so I need to check specs.
Last time I looked the ACU required a trials helmet to comply with the same standards as for road use.
The minimum requirement for a UK rider to take part in an ACU event is for the helmet to have a Silver or Gold ACU sticker for off-road events and a Gold ACU Sticker for events on tarmac or other hard surface. Helmets are independently tested prior to receiving the appropriate sticker approval, in addition to any statutory approval required (CE22.05). Trials competitors may use any appropriate helmet.
