  1. That's very kind Dabster thanks again. Steve will have the '15 bikes at Penrith so you'll be able to have a good look at them. Mine and Birdie's 300 and 280 JTG didn't miss a beat all week in the Hiighlands......which is a lot more than can be said for a few other bikes!
  2. Dabster you're an absolute star! I'm not going to Penrith but would it be possible for you to pass it on to Steve Saunders and I'll collect it from him? If you email me your address and your favourite tipple I'll arrange a bottle of something for you Once again thanks a lot for your honesty. My email: davey underscore gilbert at yahoo dot co dot uk
  3. Dabster, I rode this year and lost my purple and black Acerbis bum bag with all my tools for the week in it! It literally had everything in there, pump, multi tools, inner tube, zip ties, split link, spanners, screw drivers you name it! Even my drinks bottle! I presumed it'd been knocked in the stream by accident but I gave up looking after 20 mins as I was late on time. Please tell me this is it!?
  4. Gubes is back at Gas Gas
  5. You need a syringe to fill it:)
  6. Dan Williams, none of that is Jordi. It is entirely all Jason Finn
  7. Freestyle in Marks Cross, Wadhurst. About 5 miles from Tunbridge Wells town centre and not far from London at all. 01892 782288. Absolutely amazing shop and vast stock of all the latest goodies.
  8. Jase has ridden many trials. British Championship and International Indoors included. Which is where he realised the glitz, glamour, showboating and money was far more attractive than getting muddy in front of one man and his dog! For this I think he should be applauded, and I'm not just saying this as one of his best mates, but as a 100% trials fanatic. Because he took riding a trials bike to the masses and made it cool. Many thought of it as old men in Barbours and Wellys riding through streams. You can walk through any Motorsport paddock, be it trials, motorcross, superbike, touring cars even F1 and you can bet your bottom dollar most will have heard of, or seen Finny. Not something that can be said of many other trials riders. John Lampkin and John Shirt Snr both asked me to convince Jase in about '93/'94 to have a crack at the World Rounds as, in their words, "his talent is wasted and he's a potential world champion" His reply, "If I can earn more doing what I love now, what's the point?"
  9. I'll try and post some pics Jase, but I'm useless with pictures and the net! Maybe I'll let you do it:D Or I'll post some pics of my new gear you're going to get for me;) I wonder what happened to my Tarres '95 2 piece suit!?
  10. Say hi to him for me when you see him next. I've not seen him in years. He used to live in Faversham when I was only down the road in Sittingbourne. We used to both be in Kent Youth Trials Club and would see each other a lot.
  11. That's Darryl Jefferies. His dad Tony, did sell stuff for Jason. There may well only have been 3 of those suits produced. Or less! I still have a suit from the same year with no sponsors on it except for the Garibaldi and Team Jason Finn logos. There was just the one made.
  12. After reading this topic I felt compelled to join the forum. Garibaldi along with the riders mentioned also made suits for me, through my sponsorship from Jason as no. 1 team rider. The gear is absolutely second to none and the quality is unsurpassed. It's just a shame you no longer see it worn at world rounds. My suits/jackets etc were all unique to me thanks to Jason's support and I'll never sell any of it! Jase even has the original designs from my 1 piece that never got made when I switched to Scorpa for a very short time, but that's another subject!
