  2. No Ralph this is not a problem. To make life easier and to push Amca licences, we agreed to allow them when applying, as you pay a licence fee and become a member of the Amca. We shall be getting non club members to join a club that best suits them once they have got started. As the Championship grows we are aiming to get back to the old format. I am assuming you talking about Midlands Area Amca. Tom

  4. Round 3 of the amca summer series will be held at Bracken Rocks, Derdyshire, just off A6 at Whatstandwell, DE4 5HF (Robin Hood Road) As always, everyone welcome and a class for every level. This is an amazing venue and well worth entering if you have never had the opportunity to ride at Bracken. There will be no death defying sections.   6. Penkridge Trials club are holding round 2 of the Amca Summer Championship at Lower Drayton Farm, Penkridge, A449. ST19 4RE There will be a route suitable for every rider from Beginner to Expert Suitable for youth riders and small wheeled bikes It is a Championship round but everyone welcome. You can ride for fun, ride to beat your mate or ride for Championship points. If you are going for championship, every class has equal chance of winning. There will be prizes for top 10 in championship.   7. Acorns Mcc will be setting up a trial at Knighton, sign posted off A41 near Newport and Chetwynd. postcode ST20 0QH Expert, Clubman(50/50), Non Expert, White/Beginner Route. Pretty much something for everybody 11.00am start This will be round one of the Amca Summer Championship and includes the Overall Youth Championship, sponsored by DL Motorcycles Everyone welcome but if you want to score points towards the championship you will need an amca licence. apply at amca.uk.com There will be prizes for top 10 in championship with 1st prize receiving a set of tyres. Its a 9 round championship at 6 different venues put on by 5 different clubs. Expect something different at each round. Knighton is a cracking venue with varied sections and plenty of parking. DY12 1TP Its a pre Summer Championship, fun, warm up trial. 11.00am start. 23rd April Something to suit all levels, Expert, Clubman(50/50), Non Expert, Beginner/White Route. The beginner/white route will suit small bikes and absolute beginners. Non Expert for regular club/novice riders Clubman(50/50) for those regular/novice who like something tricky thrown in on a few sections to push themselves a bit Experts sections can be tricky, tight sometimes commitment needed but nothing death defying Sign posted off A442, Kidderminster to Bridgenorth Road DY12 1TP Come along, no licence required. Classic venue, we will make an effort to make it interesting for all classes without having to add death defying stuff. 10 sections, 4 laps. Relaxed atmosphere, all welcome. Plenty of parking.     2017 gas gas

    Dw, I have 2 of these. Build quality is equally as good as any trials bike out there at the moment. Maintenance is easy, especially as nothing really happens to them unexpected. No hidden surprises. 2017 has improvements over previous models. My last 5 bikes have been Gas Gas and have never let me down once.I'm not one for over maintenance. I keep them clean, lubricate chain, clean air filter every so often. That's about it. Most people who have problems with bikes are the ones stripping them down every 5 minutes in my experience. Anyway, I'd recommend to anyone. Tom

Near postcode ST10 0QH Walsall at Hobs Hole Lane on 22nd will be sign posted off A452 Chester Road, Aldridge, between Old Irish Harp and Plough and Harrow pubs.   18. Ibex trials club are running a trial on New Years Eve at Knighton, Newport. Sign posted of A41 Near postcode ST20 0QH 11.00 am start. All usual classes. Expert, Clubman (50/50), Non Expert, White route/Beginner. Includes overall youth Championship sponsored by DL Motorcycles. If you've never been to Knighton, its a great venue, it has a bit of everything going on, stream, steep climbs, tight turns, rocks and trees/logs. There's plenty of parking. Its an AMCA trial but no licence required. As its a round of the winter championship, if you want to score points you will need a licence soon. Forms available on the day and also at amca.uk.com. All welcome. come along and see the year out on a high.
  19. Penkridge trials club will be setting out round 3 of the winter championship at Lower Drayton Farm, Penkridge. Near postcode ST19 5RE. 11.00am start. More details in fixtures calendar. As usual with Amca trials, all welcome, no licence needed but if you want to score points in Winter Championship then a licence will be required in 2017. This is Penkridge clubs maiden trial and will be set out in typical Amca style. Nothing death defying, all levels catered for. Also youth riders will score points towards an Overall Youth Championship sponsored by DL Motorcycles. Its a new venue between M6 junction 12 and 13. Postcode DY14 9JB Sign posted off A456 Mamble, Kidderminster 11am start All classes catered for, Expert, Clubman(50/50), Non Expert, Beginner/white route No licence required to ride but to get championship points you will need one soon. Licence forms will be handed out on the day and also available at amca.uk.com. All classes will be included in the championship.
