i have binned the hebo fatbars and clamps on my 05 gas gas and fitted standard 7/8 renthal bars and renthal clamps,sorted!.

so will we ever know if shaun morris could beat dan thorpe in a uk national.if you move up a gear to the british championship it appears that colley can beat morris but could morris beat dan up scotland,this appears common ground as colley rides in the ssdt,a proper trial!.dan beat colley last year in the ssdt but colley was british champion,all very confusing!.my answer is why do the factory not importer supported riders do all the nationals,they used to do.i would like to bet that dan could hold his own with any body in a proper road based uk national trial,what do you think?.yes i am do admire dan thorpe and his input into the uk trials scene as i do jarvis,connor,etc.what do you lot think?.uk road based trials are on the up,where are world championship trials going?.

its funny though do you not think?.dan keeps beating the best,JARVIS,BAKER,CONNOR,so he must be a bit better than the rest?.

does any body know the top speed of the current trials bikes on the road??.

i was not complaining about the event just making an observation.the club always makes a mega job of putting on this event over some of the best trials terrain in england and it is still what trials are all about,a good single lap event.any body who has never ridden up the famous river kwai do not know what they are missing.

any body know who won?.

just got in from a very hard day at this trial.riding the hard route i cannot believe how much harder the trial was,yes it was a crap day,misty etc,but this trial seems to have lost its way.last year they had plenty of flowing sections riding straight up rivers,this year so differant,what does every body else think?.was the clubman route any good?.

any body heard any news on the sherco four stroke.they did say it would be ready for sale by the end of feb its now nearly the end of march!.is jarvis,pons,connor riding one in the ssdt?.

i am doing some research on the bemrose trial which was held last week and i wonderd if any body could tell me when the first bemrose trial was run?,what year.

just returned from the trial.what a cracking day out.bitter cold day though.just heard that dan thorpe has dropped one on the hard route!.does any body know how many jarvis dropped?.any body know what was the best ride on the easier route?,or where the results will be posted?.

excuse my ignorance but when is the first world outdoor round and where?

i take it we can still ride on the normal a.c.u licence/registration document if we are uk based and do not need a international one.is this still okay,their was no problems last year.

has any body any idea when the riding numbers will be out.could some body also put the link up for the official ssdt website or is this it?.

can any body tell me if i buy a new 250cc trials bike how much does it cost to tax at first registration??, the total.

put a good quality mudflap on your front mudguard for starter,s.then fit the gas gas uk supplied plastic flap below the radiator.gas gas uk are selling a better under the tank/air box rubber flap.i was recently speaking to their ace mechanic kev hipwell at the test day they did in wales who told me about this.give gas gas uk a ring and ask to speak to andy,kev,s brother who works in the spares department.i have orderd one of the new flaps which i hope i will recieve this week.i also put some tape between the tank and seat,and also tape around the airbox cover after it has been fitted.

remove the rubber sealing ring.give every thing a good clean.then clean with contact cleaner.use plenty of the white rock oil water proof grease and replace the rubber ring.blow up the tyre and the grease is forced into the spoke nipples and is made air tight.this is what the top trials teams do and it works a treat.silicone is a waste of time.

HI, had a mega day at the bvm test day and all the importer,s are a credit to our sport.they all turned up and were very helpfull and mega keen.my thought,s on the machines are the following,the new mont/honda is a superb piece of engineering but i do not know if it,s the way to go,you can either ride it or you cannot,all the gasser,s are superb,the sherco,s are a numb lump and the beta,s are good , just out of date.me personally will still be ordering a new 04 gasser 250,what a bargain!!!!!!!!,why buy an 05???????
