i think you have a fair shout on this subject jools.why can this system for all nationals not work on the acu grading system?.the lower standard of riding you are the later you start.do you people out their not think this is a fair shout.forget the clubman top rider issue what about the majority of the riders who ride the events,the "factory stars" are a minority the "clubman" are not.how many riders at nationals do the hard route as opposed to the riders who do the clubman route,the grass routes of the sport?.ask any of the importers who sell the most bikes for them,the "factory stars" or the "bike and bits stars",ie good centre runners?.this way their would be none of this enter early get a late number,every-body could enter up to the maximum limit and then the numbers could be sorted on a fair basis?.

i had a go on a honda tl 250 at sports equipe m/c,s in northwich when the great jack mathews had the shop,i think about 1976?.i had an ossa mk11 at the time,their was no comparison and if i remember the price for the honda was alot more than a tl 250.

mike roberts had a cracking ride as did local lad andy hipwell.both lads on their appropriate routes beat some good competition.what a pity that the entry was down on the last few years.i also note that the allan jefferies entry is down.how amusing that only four months ago these trials had gone for ever,support national road trials as when they are gone they are gone as they say!!!!!.

maria conway is in my opion the best lady trials rider in the world.if she got the same support off the A.C.U that the spaniards get then i think i would be proved right.

how amusing!!!,all the fuss and hassle and the chance of loosing trials forever yet the manchester 17 club put on a superb clubman national and a good run around using moorland,tracks and roads in the superb peak district and only get 95 riders!,when it,s gone its GONE!!!!.

CRAIG ROBINSON,could kick some ass!!!!!.this kid is comming good.a good uk rider based at the john shirt empire.he carries a very similar style to graham jarvis ,nothing spectacular but gets the results,keep your eye on him!!!

brian fowler,what can you say about this guy?.now sadley departed,how many of you riders out their did he support and help over the years,he was very good with me.any body out their who benifitted from from brians help and support over the years please leave a comment,i am sure his family would like to see it.this is one guy the sport sadley misses.
